moonflower wrote: »Hi I am claiming my ppi (mortgage) as i have pre existing illness.
I have tried to contact the broker however the lady in the post office asked me if I knew that he had moved to CYPRUS.
I have written to his home address, we live in the same village and at first I was reluctant to claim.
However I overcame my doubts ie Money. What should I do he was the Director of the company.
Unfortunatly I enclosed the postal order £10. I could ask the post office if it has gone?
The ppi was with Payment Shield.I am going to write to them also.
All advice welcome what should I do???
Hi there
All the best with this.;)
Did you post your SAR by recorded post hun?
If so you can check this out by tracking it down on the royal mail website, tracking section, there may also be a signature as well.
That may give you some idea.
I had a problem with a loan broker, his company dissolved, he is still a director now running his older companies and will not take any responsibility of my complaint.
I do hope you get more luck with yours.;)
Let us know though hun, maybe someone will have some useful info for you.

I've asked the FOS in adjudicating to consider me for a compensatory payment as a result of this unfair and unlawful treatment by Sainsburys as a result of their bullying (in addition to my claim for the miss-sale of PPI).
I wouldnt worry about the interest as i think that will get resolved by the oft.
Have you hit them with a letter re the bullying?:j Let him who be deceived ,be deceived:j0 -

Thx to everyone who offered advice to my question about the DCA chasing me for arrears whilst I've got a PPI dispute with the original lender.
I've now spoken to the DCA and have arranged for them to send me out an income/exp form so I can arrange to at least pay them something whilst the claim is being sorted.
Don't think they are going to be getting much per month however, but at least it should stop the chasing if I can get something agreed.
Hi there hun
Yes your right it does move very quick lol:j .
That is good news hun and only pay what you can afford.:T
Thanks for letting us know and please keep us updated of your claim, good luck.;)

Hi Natalie
With the first one last year which is done and dusted now after 14months, every few weeks, once I knew it was being dealt with by the adjudicator.
This time round for me, I was getting in touch with the adjudicator every week or 2 if no letter to tell me the updates.
Hubby has wrote to them several times, even by posting, as he is still waiting for his 2 cases to be passed on from July 2008......, also emailed them ever 2-3 weeks but nothing, he is going to ring them on Monday.

Hi Natalie.
Until it goes to an Adjudicator it can take up to a year. If you contact them you will just be told that you are in the system. It used to be that we were encouraged to contact them anytime. Recently people have been getting very short replies saying basically the more you bother us the longer the claims will take,. What stage are you at.
