Had problems with my washer again today and its the third visit since December. I pay the new for old insurance on it and they keep mending it and then it leaks every time and rattles like mad. I am now making a complaint to Domestic and General and Hotpoint about this as my carpet and skirting is soaked. Its been like this since September. This is what made me clean the kitchen today. I washed lots of things and most of the water ended up on the floor. Hotpoint say to get in touch with D & G and D & G say to get in touch with Hotpoint. These insurances count for nothing. I am getting another washer if it kills me. I have paid the higher insurance for this purpose cause I could not be without a washer. I have not had use of my drier since september on and off already but this is ridiculous.

OMG, sorry to hear that Marshallka..... .
If you get hassle again, I would contact the local Trading standards as well, its bad that....... x

    Great letter hun.
So your just waiting now then for them to respond to this, and you sent this yesterday ?

Maybe and hopefully by Monday they will get back and with a good response as well.;)
Yeah, just me being impatient again. She has always got back straight away and I have until the 16th Jan to either close the complaint against firstplus or provide further information to keep it open.
