SAR's can be very useful I think, but some things hurt as well with the things they said, I was so MAD:mad: , but the maddening thing is, I did ot request for this until after for the 1st loan, if I knew more of PPI before that on my original nemo complain dealt with by the FOS, I should have had these details then, this would have been a great help for them and it may have been resolved a lot quicker as well !The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
1st post (calculation)
..... I have just called A&L as recieved a "new loan" agreement for £3283.70 following a PPI reclaim. Also on its way is an offer of 932.72 (PPI plus assoc. interest was 1020.60) - so not to far off the mark.
Now the interesting bit. My current balance (claculated from an old statement and adding up the repayments) is 3707.99.
3707.99 - 932.72 = 2775.27
So why is the new agreement for 3283.70???
As Billy and Johnny used to say, I'm confused
2nd post (calculation)
might have just worked this out
Balance 3707.99
PPI refund 932.72
new loan 3486.86 (with int)
3707.99 - 3486.86= 221.13
221.13 +932.72 = 1153.85 is my actual PPI refund?

Cheers hun, you know what I'm like with calculations.....:o .
When your ready though hun, I am sure Oscar understands you've a lot on as well.;) xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Oscar, I think its cause of the added interest for the settlement as if this was settled using the newer regs. (2004???) then you would be charged 2 months interest at settlment and some actually charge a settlement fee too.0
