Yeah, I mean was she told it was compulsory to the loan or told she could buy it cheaper elsewhere..?? If not then it could have been missold..
Ok thanks Marshallka - I don't think she was given any options when purchasing the PPI but will check with her.

PS - hope you're feeling better soon ;-)

Its terrible that you should pay for it I think..... , here in Wales they stopped the parking charges and it should be the same for everywhere  .
Glad you didn't have to today though hun.:T ;) x

It used to be get a ticket before you went into the hospital but I think with so many delays in appointments people didn't pay enough on tickets and were disappearing outside to top up the ticket, but now its a token and barrier system and you pay when you leave. It's actually cheaper eg for me today because it cost nothing. lol

    Hi all,

I posted yesterday about a claim i had with the HSBC. My girlfriends just called me up to tell me i had a letter through from the bank and asked her to read it out to me. they say that whilst they don't agree with my complint they are offering me a settlement of £896 plus the re-structuring off my loan for the remaining 2 and a half years!!!! i am going to look into how much i have paid in insurance and how much i have paid off the loan. I'm absolutely over the moon!! i just want to say a huge thank you to all who post on these boards giving out advice and support to people!

    Thank you all so much!!

Well done I'm really pleased for you. Yes definately check your figures make sure they pay you interest too.

And watch they don't increase the interest rate through re-structuring.

Yes I see what you mean, it was like that here for some hospitals, the barriers would not let you out otherwise...... , I've seen that happen to someone as well, but due to the emergency of them following a family member that was rushed into hospital by ambulance, its easily done to forget your money..... .
