I have just looked at my LLoydstsb credit card and Im paying £90 per month in PPI. Do I claim all of this back and has anyone else had any success with them> Iv had this card for donkeys years say 10 +.
Thanks Chante
Hi Student Girl
Was this added without your knowledge? I believe they may well have had a pre-ticked box so that you had to opt out of the PPI. I have a credit card with PPI with FOS at moment.
Have a look at the CLAIM BACK 1000's red tab at the top of the home page and have a read through there. You will find template letters etc.
If you need any more help then post again and I am sure somebody will help you.
Glad your studying is nearly over it is difficult isn't it studying with young kids as well.:mad:0 -

Hi there Chante.
I see our Maxdp has responded to your post.;)
However, check out this link here which is the one Maxdp mentioned:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
This is a useful link about PPI and mis selling reasons.
Check them out and if any of the occur to you, there is a template letter on the link as well.
Add as much info as possible to the letter with your own reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.
If successful first time round then that's good, if not another letter maybe required until they send you their final response or until they suggest the Financial Ombudsman service (FOS), where they also enclose a leaflet as well.
But if you let us know how you get on first, we can then take this to the next step if required.
Post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting and if you have not heard anything by the full 8 weeks then continue this with the FOS anyway where they will investigate for you.;)
Good luck with this and your studies, it must be difficult keeping up with this and with having kids to care for as well, but well done anyway.:T
I have a complaint in with the FOS right now (LLoyds TSB) Credit card PPI.
There is a success forum next to this one, there may be some successes on there about these.;)

After all the arrangements with Tim for the mortgage, Chelt & Glos rang us today, they were very good, they said we have never missed a payment and there was an error on the account last week, we could have a repayment holiday, but we are not going for that now anyway, so we are sticking to the interest payments only for now, this was an option, they did also offer for us to wait for the insurance to come in, put a block on the account just before the end of the month, and said not to occur in charges as such, but all sorted now and they also apologised.;)
Regarding Pinnacle they emailed today to say the letter has gone out in the post today, and now they are dealing with the unemployment side of things.;)
Can't see us having any luck though on the sickness claim, but just as long as they sort out the unemployed one, then we are happy, that one should not be a problem.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

ah that's good news Di :j
You lot have turned me into a woman possessed over this ppi reclaim business! :rotfl:
I couldn't help myself popping into the Post Office for another £10 postal order to send to Monument aswellI don't want to go complaining to the FOS blind, I need all the information I can get to make our claim strong.
I have been thinking most of the night about this and thought they can sod off if they think they can try and fob me off with a template letter. How very rude? Do they know who I am? :rotfl:
Thanks for the endless information and confidence boost to go ahead in the first place with this guys, I really feel hopeful and hope 2009 is our year for change and a bit of '£££' back.
Finally I can look forward to the Postman coming to our house with replies rather than feeling depressed at the usual debt chasing letters.DMP support thread member 211 :cool:I'm only here to get some medals......honest!0 -
Hi all - letter sent to Egg today to ask for proof regarding their PPI claims. Made it pretty clear I will go to court if I need to. The documentation they have sent doesn't have anything more than, "It wasn't pre-selected..................you must have chosen it....................can you prove otherwise?" I've asked for a copy of any needs and benefit questionnaire completed and reminded them that they are on a shoogly peg when it comes to PPI matters at the moment!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
