I am not now waiting to see if the co-op renew our overdraft facility as its up in January and I have noted that some people have it taken away after making claims against companies. We have a premier account which we pay £8.50 a month for so I doubt they will be still a thought here... .

    Hiya hun
    Hope you've had a good xmas.:A

I haven't long come back from the in-laws, we had our turkey curry dinner there and I had a wine, but with half lemonade.

Talking about overdraft hun, originally ours was arranged to go down for Jan 2nd 2009, I checked on the bank statement we received the other day and it states Jan 2010 now, do you think that may be a mistake perhaps ? , I forgot to open it the other day and came across it last night.
Okay it does help if you know what I mean.

Ours is the premium account as well, we pay £10 each for ours, so that's £20 a month for a joint account.

    Good luck Marshallka. x

    Hiya Marshallka hunni.

Yes its been okay so far, but I'm always glad when things go back to normal.;)

    I understand what you mean:A .

I could not help myself either by logging on -on Christmas day lol:o , I'm addicted too, but in between like yourself, I've been spending time with the kids, especially the youngest one and hubby in between, while they are occupied I thought I would have a peep on here, and I am surprised to see how many have been posting in on the other forums as well.

My wedding anniversary is on New Years Eve, not going anywhere, but we do have one of the loud fireworks for mid night, but other than that its going to be a quiet one.:A
I have been with hubby for almost 16 years, we married on Millenium Eve:D , so that's 9 years of marriage so far - poor guy deserves a medal putting up with me pmsl :rotfl: :rotfl: .

My youngest had that "family fortunes" box game for xmas and we will probably be playing plenty of that on new years eve.:D

There should be post tomorrow, fingers crossed we shall all have some good news x

    Hiya Chums!

Hope you all had a good christmas day, ours was our first one without my mum,it as abit wierd but we all got through it ok.
A little update on my situ, still waiting on banks charges decision, Dad helped us out with council tax in the meantime. Way back in the year after my mum died we knew christmas would be strange without her but decided to do something different for new year, thinking perhaps us and dad would go out for dinner or something, instead as a suprise he'd conspired with my best friend who lives in spain and bought us all tickets to spend new year with her,:j as we've all had such a rough year he thought it would be a nice start to the new year. I'll check in with you guys as and when l can as dad's taking his laptop.

So Happy New Year to you all, thanks for all you help and support especially over the last few very difficult weeks,:T l hope 2009 brings us all good fortune in one way or another.:A
