I'm sure in the end I will do, but today has just been about people knocking my confidence - it's difficult enough to deal with this time of year if you're on your own, but when people stick the boot in, it makes it even more difficult.

I'll end up being ok if the telly is alright and I get stuck into a good book before tomorrow afternoon!
And don't forget to get one down ya too - it helps but not if you are driving of course..;)

    Hello everyone,

Quick message for Di re converting to interest only. I would hope all companies work the same as the one I work for when it comes to this but they probably don't!!

Customer would call to request conversion to interest only payments (so not paying anything of actual balance) and state reason why eg financial difficulty.

This would be referred to u/w to look into (I have never yet seen a decline enev on products with secured and unsecured lending so over 100% LTV). U/w will agree for either 6 or 12 months (you would then need to re request)

A reason why form and quote would be sent to you to confirm your reason for conversion and for signatures on quote. Return this and account converted to interest only (we will not convert any unsecured lending though).

£75 will be added to balance of account for fee for conversion.

We then write to you at end of 6/12 month period with quote on repayment basis and confirm we will convert account os of x date (again another £75 fee!!!)

The only way your credit report would be affected is if you didn't make full payment due to account or if you made no payments at all and this is only after 3 months. However, other companies might be different.

Hope this might be of some help.

Also wanted to say thanks for everyone's help for me in the past few weeks it's good to have somewhere to ask questions and not have to ring a call centre where you (or I) sometimes feel like the person on the phone doesn't care or doesn't know what they are talking about.

Wow thank you Trini for checking this out for me, your wonderful thanks so much.:T :A .
    Will show hubby this later.:D ;) .

We are here for you as always.:A xx

Wish I could - I'm not a drinker hence the 'miserable sod' comments from folk at work. Ended up just telling them it's because of the medication I've been given which is true. Of course, they'll now all be sat there going, "Wonder what medication she's on" but that's gossips for you

Hope everyone has a good Xmas - I'm going off to my bed shortly and sleeping through till Boxing Day! :D
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
