Secondly on the credit card PPI are you saying you cancelled it and then you want to make a claim...?? I don't think that would be allowed unless you were out of work at the time the policy was valid.

with the credit card i dont want to make a claim i just want to claim the money back i was paying over 5 years as i didn't know i had payment protection and never asked for payment protection..

i never left any job without going into another job i only left because it was only temporary and minimum wage which like i said earlier was barely covering my bills. i left to go to another angency who offered a better paid job and also could last longer and could give me full time employment..

and thanx di3004 for your help also ive just noticed your other reply you just posted while typing this :-)

Right, you want to claim misselling... sorry I misunderstood you there...

Just take a look at the link here and see what you can add and delete from the template letter. Its always best to do your own from this. There are lots of reason on there for the misselling so pick out the ones that are applicable to yours.

You then write to the firm that actually made the sale of the PPI to you if this is different from the lender and don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you always a proof and dates etc.

After that you have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. In this time it is usual to get a response of "sorry we sold this to you fairly" but you then respond to this and reiterate your complaint again. The next time they write they either give you a final response which you would need in order to take this complaint to the FOS or offer to settle.

    Good luck

I see Di has posted the sar for you... I personally would get the misselling letter in first and then if you need to request the Sar after.

Then again you need to argue this one and state that you did not leave voluntarily. Would you previous employer perhaps confirm this to them??

If they do not play ball then perhaps you could state misselling here as this policy is of no use to you..
