Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My loan with Sainsburys finished in August of this year but it is only after reading the site I realise I may be able to claim.

The loan was takien out 6 years ago but at the time I still held a registered disabled Green card, in all honesty it was given to me following a car accident 29 years ago where I had pins and plates in my ankle which dont cause me too much problems apart from the odd day and of course the fact I still have problems and physio on my neck.

Would I have been covered? and is it worth me pursuing a claim?

    Cheers

    Hi there and welcome here.;)

I am so so sorry to hear of your issues here hun.

Unfortunately due to the years this may be a problem but it seems they still done the wrong thing.
Due to regulation wise such as the FSA has taken over from GISC in January 2005, I really do not know about the rules back that long ago but hopefully someone will come along and try to help here if they can.;)

Just a thought but maybe you could make contact with the FSA or even the Financial Ombudsman just to see what they have to say about your situation here before actually starting anything here, if you know what I mean.;)

You could ring them or ring the FSA here:

Good luck with this hun and please let us know cheers.;)

Were you made aware that pre existing conditions were not covered and also does it state it in your terms and conditions.... most policies state that you would not be covered for these things??

Di, the loan was only taken 6 years ago... . Its was the green card that was issued 20 years ago so they would be ok on this one most probably.
