Hiya maxdp, got your email, Di is going to be going mad without her puter. She will on the phone to her adjudicators now getting things sorted for a new one...

Hope she gets it sorted now.

I have spoken to docs about my cells and 15000 is normal for me (doc put satisfactory as I had the film done in 2004)!!! (yeah right)... getting really fed up now and someone is calling me this after about my node thing...

Also had another complaint number through about Firstplus  and it is completely different to any of the others. I am getting slightly annoyed at this. I have called them and asked what its about (as my previous letters told me that all had been closed except for the unfair rebate which is to be made to the insurer on my behalf) and then I have been allocated another about settlement... I only ever had two complaints, the settlement of the loan and also the rebate of the PPI. I got them before an adjudicator in may of this year and were together with one complaint number and they got closed as not within their jurisdiction.

I then resubmitted again one for unfair rebate, which is apparently having to go to the insurer as it was the terms in the insurance policy that determined the unfair rebate. Iwas told that last week and then had a letter to say my other for unfair settlement was outside the jurisdiction so closed. I have now had this today and its so confusing....with another complaint number.

OK so if that is normal you do not seem convinced:confused: Hope answers come back re Node.

And now you are having more confusion at the FOS. I do hope this gets sorted it seems to be that whatever you do there gets cocked up:mad: Hear they have a large swear box in the offices of the FOS and every time your name is mentioned they all through a fiver in so they can swear. Tee Hee:rotfl:

That was not pointing at you in any way Marshallka it is just that you seem jinxed with your claims. Mine they have used under a table leg i think to stop it wobbling. I know where I would like to place the paperwork:D

My son is at work and me and hubby have not got a clue, or is it something to do with the settings?

Sorted now, I rang and apparently another complaint was set up about the settlement of the loan and she says that although this has been set up she will close it as its definately outside jurisdiction. I am so confused again but going to leave it to them now as she has said to do that...:D . I am sooo glad.

Spoke about bloods and yeah they are normal for me, (NOT CONVINCED!!!)something going on most probably but I need to explain to them what... . I can't be specific here so what the hell. Just have to live with it and the node again they say these things can happen and stay up for years and be ok...They really do confuse me when you read about things on the net. I actually quoted lots to him today but still nothing. Got to go in 13th..results for chest x ray and spine...

I sent copies of all correspondence.....:o Mine and whatever I received from the company.
I just wish that people like tiggrae would look into the whole amounts first and check the figures back before telling people to go for amounts like this as if they paid you that £3772 back then they paid you for having the loan and I really don't think any business would do that... .

How do you think you have been unfair rebated on the PPI DI. I think this was definately not worked out using rule 78 on rebates and more like a pro rata refund which is deemed fair by the FSA... of which I will be happy with from FIrstplus... taking into account they actually charged the whole interest too on this.

You may have to say why you feel they took this £3772 off of you unfairly...making you settlement then 19923.96 on a 23835 loan with repayments of 3336 against being £20499 left to pay without any interest here...

Not sure to be honest hun, its just that when I added about being mis sold here and they were not under jurisdiction I was told then about the unfair rebate issue, although I suppose I did think then for a loan over 25 years I would have paid less back to settle if you know what I mean considering it was paid off 15 or 15 months into the loan for a 300 month loan, but now reading into it more I am uncertain now.......

Hi, can someone advise me if I can reclaim the PPI I took out on my A & L loan in Oct 2006. I borrowed 10k for 60 months and the PPI alone turned out to be another £3k added on straight away.

I honestly can't remember whether I was missold the PPI or not. I have a vague recollection that I thought I couldn't get the loan unless I took out PPI with it.

I was working part time when i took it out but then went out maternioty leave from feb 07 and didn't return to work since but never notified them of my change in employment status. Can I reclaim :money: ???

Di your whole loan without interest was 23835

You made repayments of £3336 and then settled again at £23646...

Your whole loan cost you £26982.00 being the settlement and the Repayments made

So the total cost of the loan was 26982 and take away what you borrowed (without interest) is £3141 for borrowing 23835.00 over 300 months and this is interest and PPI payable for 16 months. The PPI without the interest for the 16 months would have been 636.00 add on the interest payments to that and it is 22.49 x 16 = 359.84 which is £995.84 which is what the PPI should of cost you for the total 16 months.

and the interest on borrowing 21K being the loan was about 166.60 per month x 16 = 2665.60 so you really paid about right here Di.

Most of your repayments were interest on borrowing 21K over the 300 months...and then interest on the PPI over 16 months.

Now if you got the £3772 back then the loan cost nothing at all to have...
