Di look in the loft or the back of the drawer you know the one. When you pull the drawer out it is stuffed down the back on the carpet. Ombudsmen obviously think you have a case then/ Lloyds are well dodgy I cannot believe what they have sold my business partner and partner over the years. About 8 policies and none cover cause we do not necessarily work 16 hours per weeks. We also had critical illness cover, life cover mortgage cover and every credit card and loan was covered with PPI. We were not aware ( both business and personal) OMG can you believe it we were so well covered that if someone had died we would have been rolling in it. But not covered for health issues cause our bank manager told us that the health issues were not a problem and would be covered.

Non advised sales which were actually advised sales:confused: from 2004. hmmmmmmm
Di remembers what the letter was about. It was about when her hubby was out of work some years ago and she wanted to know if she could claim on her PPI cause of it and enquired. This should not be the problem with LLoyds as it was a cut and dried case of Di was only a homemaker and only had family allowance as income and they used that on the form to get her the card. I did not think they could put that down as income anyway as that is for you to pay out for your child. They rounded it off to £200 and put it as income... . Is it classed as income though?? I wonder if LLoyds are disputing that this "income" was in fact income or they wrote it down as "income". (if you understand what i mean here!!)

Just found out that you can include family allowance as income for a credit card. Looked on the RBS what can be included as income... I have learnt something myself here...;)

Arr Nova, sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment but things will hopefully get better soon. Your case certainly sounds like a fast track case to me and one that is genuine. I do understand as I was on my own for years with my son and it was hard at Christmas always but looking back now it was probably the best time of our lives... we appreciated things more...

Lets hope your bank charges are back in your bank soon...;)

So sorry you are having a bad time at the moment and I really hope you get fast tracked. There are people claiming it that do not need to cause they see it as a fast way through but that is wrong cause it stops genuine cases getting through the system. Really hope it works for you. At least your kids have you two and that means so much more than presents. I know they will not realise it at the moments but being there for children is the biggest present we can give them. :T

Saying that Nova had a route around my sofa the other day and I found a couple of pens, some bread sticks, dust and fluff, some peas and half a sausage.

No he did not have a loan my point being that he had all these benefits that were not taxable but when we split up they were classed as income when he went for a mortgage with his new other half:rolleyes:
