Hi again so would the next step be the SAR, to get in writing that they do not have the loan agreement ( as they have told my boyfriend this on the phone). Then go from there?£100 - £10,0000

They have 12 days to comply with this request and it cost you £1.
Don't forget to send it recorded delivery.0 -

Hi everyone
Just read martins weekly email re Egg Card PPI I contacted them today as I have had Egg Card in the past which was changed over to a loan. I have sent them an email today following an unproductive phone call with them. Am I right in thinking I can request a SAR to find out if PPI was added to these accounts? and will they give me the info if I dont have the original account numbers?Official DFW nerd 206 Proud to be dealing with my debt

Maybe if we bug them enough they might get so fed up that they might get us to the front of the queue.
my case worker is Chris Davis, he is so unhelpful when i phone he is almost mono-syllabic, feel i need to wind him up when i ask any questions. Perhaps he has had as much training as the people who sell this damn ppi lol.
I am going to phone them on a weekly basis and if i have not had a reply by the 8 week deadline (5/1/09) i will be sending another letter and also contacting the FO. How long can it take to write a letter after all the information has been gathered, he can keep his letter just tell me over the phone....
I will be phoning again on Tues before they break up for Xmas
Good luck and let me know how you are getting on0 -

I cannot THANK someone that slates what I am doing here and I cannot ignore posts when its something I do daily in helping people get back their PPI if they have been missold. Its a good job that some people do fight back as this thread would most probably be closed by now in that he would have won his quest in making it an unpleasant place to be. Thats my view of his/her posting. A few of us have tried being polite and got bitten back.
Hiya hun.;)
Thats right, always best to be yourself and not two-faced, speak up;) !
Like yourself hun, its not nice what the main of us have been through in being mis sold these ppi products, I feel very bitter with these and will keep fighting every single one of them, will not give up whatever it takes, half of us have been in great debt and like you said about almost losing a roof over your head I have known many to be in that position due to these awful happenings where we also got just about lucky with a mortgage or should I say remortgage last year.
So yep, stand up for yourself and your rights.:T.

Hi HomeJames
Yes you can request a SAR from any company where they should supply you with everything they have on the account going back as far as 6 years.
There is a template on this site a few pages away, I added one and so did Marshallka, but please use what Marshallka posted yesterday as that one is the more updated to what I know of.;)
As long as you have the main details hun, I don't think you should actually worry about the account numbers.;)
Good luck
