You are doing it again credit crunch.... winding people up with your attitude. I wonder if you are here to stop this thread being so "friendly" in that anyone new that wants to ask people that have BEEN THERE and know what its like feel that its not a nice place to be. Its a bit like walking into a room full of arguing people - who would WANT to stay. I suggest you perhaps join another thread or better still another site (as it was Martin Lewis that bought this to our attention on here!!) and perhaps you will find your own kind on there.

Have a nice day and hope you get another job real quick...
Feel really sorry for xmas spice to have come in to all this today. Hope we can be of some help. Don't give up on us xmas spice WE ARE here to help. Lets hope credit-crunch gets the message although I somehow feel they are out to cause trouble. Have a good day Marshallka. Sorry to have to leave you but some of us do have jobs to go to. Will speak to you tomorrow

Marshallka just a quickie post, the xbox is back....:D .

Will catch up and post later, making my uncle a much deserved cup of tea......:D . xx

Will try to help you out later as well hun, sorry to be leaving all this on you but I know you understand due to my circumstances right now.:A
    I understand Di...

I am just sticking up for what I believe in and that is fairness all round. I will always stick up for it and I am a figher. I am not an "on the fence" type person and truely believe where something like this is concerned you either believe in it fully or you stop doing what you are doing. I am not a "I want everyone to like me type either". If people don't like me, fair enough, if people do then thats great too. I am true to myself...:D

No offence taken xmas spice. We all just feel for you coming into this. Its not usually like this or has never been before. I hope you have had a read through the link and perhaps you will be sending off the reclaim letter. If you want any more help then please ask away.

    Good luck
  • Has anyone heard anything from M & S Money about reclaiming the PPI on their credit card?

Been waiting almost 5 weeks now, only had acknowledgement letter.
  • AAARGH, Tesco Personal Finance are dragging their heels!!!! I called them yesterday for an update on my ppi complaint and i was told they had all the information they need and i will receive a letter in 2-3 weeks... Does it really take this long to write a letter?? Me thinks they are going to wait till the 8 weeks deadline.
Anyone else banging their heads with Tesco

Who is your caseworker? I rang mine yesterday & was told that even when all the information has been gathered you then go into a queueing system to wait to be dealt with.

Maybe if we bug them enough they might get so fed up that they might get us to the front of the queue.

Wow this thread goes really fast, thanks for the replys. He took out the loan june 2006 to pay off his other loan and his credit card it was with natwest. Yes he made a claim as he was off sick for 2 months last year, he had a minor op (got £600 paid through the PPI) thats why they say he can't cancel it. (it hadn't crossed his mind to try and claim the PPI back, he just wanted to cancel it from now on) yes it was a lunp sum added at the time of the loan, and he paid interest on the PPI also. I was kind of hoping that as they have lost the loan agreement, we could get them to agree to remove the PPI? Do you think they would though

    Hi,
I am in a similar situation with First Direct. I want to pay off my loan with them and expected a refund of insurance in the settlement figure. There wasn't because I had made a claim last year so I spoke to them to query this. My complaint was escalated and I got a call back from their Customer Relations dept on Monday. They have said that if I pay back the amount I claimed then they could recalculate my loan settlement amount to include a redund of insurance. First Direct arrange the PPI through Norwich Union so this may be a policy specific to Norwich Union rather than throughout the insurance industry in general but it may be worth asking your bank if a similar agreement could apply to you.
    Hope this helps.
