Forgot to say earlier, I left an email with the adjudicator about Lloyds and have not heard anything.......
, will get back to them next week though, because it will be 2 weeks of what he said - fingers crossed.

It started two weeks after having my daughter and that lasted about 9 months and then went and came again when I started work again at the school. I eventually paid for a private neurologist in 1999 just the same week as we signed for application of the firstplus loan.
You will never forget this then hun..... , will have a read later, thanks.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Right okay, so it seems they are fobbing you off then?
Now in my opinion they should have made sure this was to suit your needs first, because if for some reason you have to make a claim from work due to asthma, then its clear they will not pay out, I would defo fight this one out.;)
If they state this is their final response then yes take this to the FOS here:
http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm
Or you can ring them to request for an hard copy in the post, and enclose copies of any correspondence to help your case.
Good luck hunni, keep fighting.x
OK, thanks for the advice. Good to hear there could be hope for me. Can you direct me to anywhere that might provide a 'template' letter/wording tailored for my case regarding pre existing medical condition? Would you advise me waiting until the paperwork comes through from Barclaycard/Morgan Stanley?
Thanks again0 -
Isn't it hard when you are waiting for your claim and other people are getting their claims after just one letter?:o
None of mine are straight forward, I would just like one where the company writes to me and says yes you were mis sold:D
The easiest one I had was with Liverpool Victoria, one letter and within 14 days they paid out, Nemo was with the FOS, very complexed, and now the Lloyds one I thought would have been straight forward, but not chance there..... , Twopart being dealt with by FSCS and liquidators, and the Endeavour one, well goodness knows what will happen next with that one......:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hun check this out here

This is a useful link, think there maybe something on there, if not come back to let us know but basically I would try to add in your own words as much as possible, not for it to look like a template if you know what I mean, although there is a template on that link you can use but I would use it as a guide.;)
You could always add, "I was sold a product which was not explained to me, and as I have a pre -existing medical condition, I would not be eligible to make a claim, where I am paying for this cover and as this is costly, it is not fair for me to be paying out for a cover that I would not be fully eligible for".
Also
"If this was explained to me and made sure I was eligible, it is highly unlikely I would have taken out this PPI product, where it would have been cheaper for me not to have had this cover"
(something like that is okay).;)
But check the link out above as well and use it as a guide, they have 8 weeks to fully respond to you, once that is up, if unsuccessful and once you've received your Final response then its off to the Financial Ombudsman service from there.;)
As usual post by recorded delivery, and keep us posted, so we can help you all the way here, don't let a standard fob off letter put you off.;)
Oops almost forgot then, I would still continue to write to them hun, if you know you had PPI then there should not be a problem.
Good luck
Di

Well he emailed on the 2nd DEC, so depending when he actually sent the issues he raised with them I suppose, which I imagine it was at an earlier date, so yep you may be correct, it could still be a fortnight gone already.......
I was just taking it from the 2nd Dec.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

We weren't to know it was not and I have the docs letter to the neurologist that suggested it WAS something more serious. I rushed into that Firstplus loan and whoever sold it to us knew of our problems.
OMG  that is very bad of FP........... , no wonder you feel bitter, and I would be too !!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks again - the letter I have does clearly state it can be regarded as their 'final response'. I will draft the letter in my own words and send to one or the other, would you reccomend giving them one final chance or going straight for the FOS (Recorded delivery either way)? Sorry if I am repeating myself but just want to make sure I am giving myself the best chance of getting my money back.
Thanks in advance0
