    Hi folks I'm back.:D

Pinknico, yes hun I have only just started Home Ed as from Tuesday just gone, luckily we have Mencap who have been really good to us and are also helping all they can, but this is only because he has special needs.
The main subjects that I was told to help him with they say will depend on what he wants to do when he leaves school, he loves animals and loves computers, all this is still being sorted but for now we are getting on with continuing with what he was doing at school.;)

Max hun, yes I love it to be honest and remember helping out my mates kids, okay this was before I had my youngest, but there were 3 of them, but not everyday, was voluntary, but loved it.;)

Marshallka, yes you could do it, anyone can.
I used to think years ago that you had to be qualified, but no this is not the case, if you get the chance to read the link I added earlier, its very interesting.;)

I know its early days, but I am sure I will manage, we do have educators in the family as well who are supposed to be getting in touch with me.;)

Thanks folks, your all very supportive and a fantastic lot.:D :A

Thanks Pinknico :o- but everything we do seems to be a battle, for some people, things just seem to come easy, not with us - we could write a book!!! Sadly no time:confused: to do that either!! I'm pleased that FOS believe us, I know we were mis sold - but as time goes on (have been complaining to FP for nearly a year) we just start to doubt if we have given the FOS everything we should!

they had sent me an email (FOS) that is last week, saying that there was a hold up with a 'regulatory matter'!! So I sent them an email asking what does that mean in 'Layman' terms, and this was their reply, but I still don't know exactly what 'our case and others' is!!! But you a right, so the FOS can say we should get our money back, but clearly Firstplus have decided that they are going to challenege them!!! Surely this shows that they are on dangerous ground, I think that if they agree to ours, then the flood gates will open - what do you think??

Good for you catinthehat. Am sure we all have our fingers crossed for you. Keep us informed:D

Marshallka Why is this complaint different that yours. Am not up to scratch on catinthehat. First plus is either an issue or not. Some people seem to get help others do not. I do not understand:confused: Though saying that good luck to Catinthehat.:D
Well catinthehats was about an unfair rebate that they offered back (a pro rata refund) and she took it to the FOS and I think its now about misselling too. Mine is about just unfair rebate as this was against the lender. This was told to us from tiggrae to go for unfair rebates against the lender and then FOS told both Di and me that "unfair rebates" are against the actual underwriter of the policy as the rebates are determined by these and not the lender. Now most of Firstplus's earlier policies were a consortium or insurers:rolleyes: but ultimately the insurer is LLOYDS and it even states on the bottom of the insurance policy that all complaints about the policy are dealt with by LLOYDS who were under the INSURANCE OMBUDSMAN SCHEME so would be compulsory jurisdiction... . But NO, they are now giving us jurisdiction issues even with this on the policy documents.
