Debenhams storecard with GE money.0

Debenhams storecard with GE money.
So it was Debenhams finance department who sold this store card I take it?
Now I believe its whoever arranged the store card like anything else loans, credit cards etc, is the ones to complain to, I am sure Marshallka will be able to confirm this to you hun.;)
See in my opinion then it is Debenhams to complain to, within their finance department and not GE money, but just to make sure see what Marshallka or others have to say here and good luck, there may be other ways around this, hopefully.;)

Never even contemplated taking it up with Debenhams would assume they would just redirect you to GE.0 -

Its like if you use a broker for a loan you have to pursue the broker that sold the PPI and not the lender.0 -
There we are Chipbeck, try Debenhams,as Marshallka says, they may try passing the buck but make it clear in your letter its them who arranged this and no-one else, GE is just the bank.;)
Need to pop out back later.

I agree with you in principle marshalka but the fact is that the original CCA clearly shows the no box ticked. So as far as Deb's is concerned we didn't want PPI. It's GE who have added PPI in 2001 because of a supposed phone call.0 -

I was lead to believe that its always who actually sold the PPi otherwise if this rule if where someone in a store was given PPI by the store BUT they sold it on behalf of the bank (like Debenhams etc do!!) then if you pursue the Bank (ie GE) then why can't we pursue the lenders!!! (IF our brokers are not authorised!!)0 -

You can request a SAR from them...but if its over 6 years ago then they maybe would not have the details.0 -
