There are always the courts if you have a strong enough case...

They know that you have got nowhere to go with the complaint (and they know that they have done wrong too half the time) and they play on it. Then they wonder why everyone is fighting back

I have a signed agreement they have a word of mouth statement and nothing else. That's why I'm flabbergasted that they have told me to bog off.

You will have to give the FLA a go here and state that you are on this site and everyone is being fobbed off with this excuse although they definately missold it to you.

Tell them what is the use of displaying FLA on their "heads" if FLA never do anything to help recover money back. :mad:

I think that everyone who gets turned away by the FLA ought to make a BIG complaint about them. (to the FSA and OFT)

I see what you are saying but it is missold to you as you never requested it and it was added without you asking. I would now get a stiff letter to the FLA and MAKE them do something about it. Don't give up like others do and KEEP complaining. They had a code of practice for these companies to follow and adhere to and they did not, full stop, end of so you are making a complaint.

You are of course right.
Can you imagine if I'd signed an agreement with a financial institution then broken that agreement by stating I'd rung and changed things ............I think not!

Chipbeck, did they send any T & C s in your SAR ?

Try the FLA although I found them useless! Otherwise court is your only option.

Unfortunately I agree. Will get things rolling in January. I've managed to dconvince myself that any sensible person will look at the facts and find in my favour.

Think I am getting to grips with the PPI unfair rebate thing. When you explained that earlier with rule 78 it started to sink in what you were saying. It is not your explaining its me being daft
