Here is the email I received 19th November,

Firstplus has confirmed that the underwriters for the policy were Miller Fisher, however they are no longer in business and Cassidy Davis took over from them. I have requested further information from Firstplus, in order to determine the liability issue. As soon as a response is received from Firstplus, the matter may need to be referred to our Legal department to be further considered. I will inform you if we need to proceed with this course of action.

I wonder what the problem is here...I know i am going on but just want this done and dusted as far as the jurisidction issues and if then, I have to wait, so be it... I will ask for fast track though.. . I think they owe me that one..

Just reiceved this now in reply to my other email earlier. I appreciate their swift response and hope and pray they can look into this for me...:confused:
Thank you very much for your email. My enquiries are on-going, and I am currently awaiting more information from Firstplus.

Without sight of the information I am unable to comment on jurisdiction. I appreciate that you are concerned about moving your case forward, however, I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure that your complaint is progressed as quickly possible. As previously explained your case may need to be referred to our legal department, which means that it may take a few months before we are able to resolve the issue.

We will keep you informed, so that you are aware of the steps we will be taking.

Thank you for your continued patience

    Kind regards

Marshalka you seem to be having a rough time with first plus at the moment and can see why you are getting so stressed with it all. But as a newbie to this sight I would like to thank you for sharing these issues as at least it is honest and people like myself can see that it isnt plain sailing, but that there are people out there who understand where you are coming from.

I really hope that this make sense and does not come across as patronising as that is the last thing I would want.

    Hang on in there

Thanks for your support Marie, it is appreciated and nice to know you are not alone... .

Your case should be much easier than mine being 2006 and for misselling... don't look at mine and think you will have this trouble..I have a feeling yours will be plain sailing;)

Just popped into say Hi. Guys just keep going I know it is difficult but we can support each other. We can keep going with these and if one thing does not work there are always other way of going. We do sometimes get people on here who seem to have inside info so I am sure we will all get there in the end.
