Its annoying though isn't it ?
That's why these companies are getting away with it...... , reading back on that letter I received the other day, HFC added that Endeavour did not fall under the jurisdiction of the FOS prior to 6 April 2007. And as your complaint relates to an issue that occurred prior to this date, we believe they may not be able to adjudicate on this matter.
It is important to clarify that whilst HFC Banks owns EPF, the products offered under each brand are different and as such, are subject to differing arbitration services.
    ....................................................................................................
Again my complaint was about the settlement made in Nov 2005 and not before that, they keep referring as if its mis sold !!!
HFC were covered as from 2001.
So going by that then I take it Endeavour never sold ANY insurance after 14th January, 2005 until After April, 2007 themselves:rolleyes: if they were not within FOS jurisdiction until that date.

I am so fed up today, fed up of trying to get things sorted with all these PPI things and money from here and money and there and all for what. I don't know if its worth it in the end...

I don't think these providers realise just what DAMAGE they have done.

When you are in debt and then like the PPI you are not only deprived of money you go deprived of life and can often give up to some extent, how do you get back on your feet then??

They just do not realise what they have done. Its far more than just money in my eyes.

Its still a lot more than money here Di. When you are in debt and needlessly induced to more debt how many arguments do you end up having in the house etc. What amount of money can repay you for things like that. What amount of money can repay you for the stress these things cause..getting the money back is only a small refund of what they have REALLY done...
