has anyone reclaimed PPI from Black Horse?

if so, what was the outcome?

    Hi Kev
There seems to be a lots trying to reclaim from these at present, it may also be worth your while checking on the PPI Success forum which is generally next to this thread.;)

May I ask what date you had taken out a loan with Black Horse, if it was after Jan 2005 you should not have a problem if this has to go to the Finanical ombudsman service if not successful reclaiming from them, yet I did read that they were covered by GISC prior to Jan 2005.

Right, I decided to email HFC just to see if my complaint had reached them okay, and mentioned the FOS was doing this on our behalf, the consultant from the FOS states on the letter a fortnight ago our details were sent, but read the reply from HFC here:

    Dear Mrs

Thank you for the attached email and I regret that you have had cause to
    contact me.

Using the information you have provided I am unable to find any complaint
being received from you or the Financial Ombudsman Service. In order for
me to investigate the matter further please can you provide me with details
of your complaint at your earliest convenience.

    Yours sincerely

I had surgery & was off work for 6 months, so I claimed for PPi on the accounts, I thought when I took out the ppi's that they directly paid the minimum amount on your accounts if you are unable to pay because of illness or redundancy ( in my case illness),if I thought that i still had to pay the minimum amount every month i would not have taken out the ppi's in the 1st place.can I still claim for the amounts I have paid since they paid me 2 1/2 yrs ago, I still pay ppi's on the accounts:rolleyes:

Unfortunately not if you have claimed on them. Sorry

Hi there I am currently working on them, just waiting for my agreement to come through. I know Masmit has had awful trouble with them and is about to go for court I think. So FOS don't want to know?
hi, the FOS have taken on my existing loan ppi complaint, but will not touch any complaints before jan 05. found somewhere blackhorse were regulated by GISC from 2000. if its correct, trying to find out if FOS will take all complaints on .
if they wont i shall look at court option
i have complained to watchdog today about blackhorse & FLA if there's enough complaints, they will investigate, so put a complaint to them. worth trying anything that could help
