I have written thes eletters to both Northern Rock and to Pinnacle and funnily enough I have just been on the Pinnacle insurance website and apparently you are not covered for unemployment or redundancy under the accident and sickness cover and based on my basic mortgage payment I should be thats SHOULD be paying £22 a month when I am actually paying £90 a month!!!!0

Hi there hun
We are with Pinnacle insurance, but can they also switch claims, for example, if you claim for sickness then come out of work they then switch to unemployment?
The reason why I say this is because when husband works closed down before Christmas last year, he claimed for unemployment, he did return to work and was then informed it would be 6 months before he can make another claim, now he is sick from work we are only now dealing with the sickness side of things, but this is due to depression, they will not cover him for his back complaint though as this has been a problem since early 2000's maybe late 1990's.
I may be wrong in the waiting time, so will have to check the policy out again, because now they are saying this can be backdated from July..., he has been sick since then.
If we had known this we would have put in a claim at an earlier date, we lost track of time with this one.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Mark
Good you made it here.;)
Here you will receive help not just from me but others too.;)
Now here is the link to the PPI info and letter template
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
You should write to the ones who arranged your loan for you, mainly the brokers if this was not arranged directly by the lender.
They have 8 weeks to respond, but check the info out first on the above link to check what mis selling occurs to you first so you can add this in the letter, the template will help you.
Post by recorded delivery for your proof and to keep a check on the 8 weeks.
Another letter maybe required if not successful first time round, then on to the Financial ombudsman service if you want to if still unsuccessful, depending if the ones who arranged the loan was regulated by GISC then where the FSA had taken over in Jan 2005.
Despite that there are other ways round this.
Good luck and let us know how you get on, in order to receive further help if requested.;)

Let's hope it's a positive one.
Still waiting to hear from M & S
I also have 2 claims in with Tesco for 2 old loans which are now re-paid. I received a call yesterday to say they had found my agreement paperwork and this would be sent on to me and my claim was being sent to the specialist team in Manchester..... did they say the same to you??? 2-3 working days was never mentioned to me. I had an assigned case worker but now she says this has to go to the specialist ppi team.
Lets hope the decision is in 2-3 days and its a positive one...would be great for Xmas:T :T0
