Hi Deborah46
Not got any complaints in myself with this company. You should by rights be receiving copies of your agreements, ensure you write to them also with this request and send it recorded delivery then you know you will get a written response back, its all evidence.
When did you take out and settle the loans?
Received a letter from Tesco Personal Finance this am saying they are looking into my complaint and they will respond in the next 10 days with an answer or more time to look at this. So i called and asked where my documents were and i was told they are still trying to locate them.
Loans were from 2004 and 2005 both paid in full......
lets hope they can find them and pay me back whats due to me.0 -
I wonder if anyone can help me, I recently recveived a letter about my complaint from HFC bank, stating they could not ascertain whether my ppi was in my best interests, but they said i had 2 options, they would take it from my balance of the loan so i could either pay my balance in full or i could take out a new loan for the outstanding amount.
Can they do this? and do i have the right to say, no i dont want it taken off the balance i would like it in cheque form?0 -

Hi
It is usually the way it happens. They cancel PPI and reduce the loan payments. They should refinance to the same rate as you had or cheaper. They have a Treating Customers Fairly Policy in place. Just make sure they let you have all the figures etc. Then post them up on here and am sure somebody could go through them for you. Good Luck:mad:0 -
To all you experts out there, if you receive a letter that is from the FOS that says they are asking the business for further information about the case does that mean it is in their jurisdiction ? Would they have checked this before approaching the company?
After all your stories I am paranoid!!DS1 12/10/04
