If you feel you have been mis-sold the ppi then you need to put this complaint in writing to halifax explaining your reasons for the mis-sale. However you may wish you request all the info they hold on you (SAR) including telephone calls, just so you have more evidence to fire at them.

Did you get the loan by telephone or in the branch?

Mmmmm I think you still need to put your complaint in writing, possibly head office.

I'm not sure how you could prove it was mis-sold due to going through the branch, its just everything is face to face.

Di might be able to add more to this one and the others.

Don't be put off complaining though still put it in writing, its just I got mine over the telephone and was able to obtain telephone calls which made it slightly easier.
