MC, did add a post earlier, but will add it here again in case you missed the last one.;)
If your successful in reclaiming this you will get back every penny plus stat int etc, and your new loan will be reschduled without the ppi, anyway hun here is my post I added just a little earlier here:
Even if you have a new loan you can still reclaim the PPI back from the original loan then and stat int etc.;)

Hi there
If its only this year you had taken this out, (a few months back then), you may possibly have the paperwork still on hand.
Unfortunately hun some loan companies work like that, where a new loan is rescheduled without the PPI, but you can still try to reclaim on this if this was mis sold to you.
Check out this link here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/rec...loan-insurance
You will find some useful ppi info plus a mis selling check list, if any of them apply to you then add them to your letter along with as much information as possible, and if those of your reasons are not listed then add them to your letter anyway.
There is a template letter on that link to help you through this.
They have 8 weeks to respond.
Post by recorded post, and keep us posted as we can then guide you on to the next step, hopefully you will be successful with the first letter, but if not we shall take it from there.
Good luck.;)

Hi All,
I already have a claim in with HBOS, which seeems to be going well as they have supplied me with all the agreement documents and lodged the complaint with their customer relations team regarding mis-sold ppi, i also sent the template letter to back this up.
I am having problems with Tesco Personal Finance, i have called on 2 occasions for my agreement forms and i have been told they cannot locate them and a specialist team will look into this. As all my personal loans have been paid off i am no longer in receipt of these documents....
Is anyone else having problems with Tesco and where do i go next.
I would be grateful for any help0 -

Hi Deborah46
Not got any complaints in myself with this company. You should by rights be receiving copies of your agreements, ensure you write to them also with this request and send it recorded delivery then you know you will get a written response back, its all evidence.
When did you take out and settle the loans?:wave:0 -

Hi, I hope someone can advise. I took out a loan with Halifax in July 08 for £5000 over 60mths, and I have a PPI with it. I tried to cancel the PPI after 1 1/2 mths but was told it was linked to the loan and I would have to take out a new loan to pay off the old one, when they tried the interest rate had gone up and i would be paying back the same ammount without PPI. Also they have added the amount for the PPI to the loan before the interest, so I'm paying interest on the PPI aswell, so my total pay back is £7933, £1204 for the PPI. I haven't gone through the policy in detail but I feel I was pressured into taking it out. HELP!
Have a look in the success section on ppi it may help in your claim under Lateesh1. They have re-claimed ppi from halifax from 2004.:wave:0 -
