Thanks for adding this hun.
It seems like you have this all under control.:T , well done.
If you want this double checked if Marshallka has time I am sure she will check over the calculations for you, I know Marshallka has been extremely busy at the moment but when she has 5 and if you want it checked out then just post up ready.;)
Good luck anyway and please keep us posted, cheers.

Hi there just about to start the process of reclaiming the PPI. However i am looking for information about the loans being applied for over the internet. I am certain i applied over the internet however i can recall the answer was not given over the internet and that an A&L representative called me with the answer and that i would only be accepted if i took the PPI. Does this sound similar to anyone and also will i have any problems getting a refund after A&L has paid out so much already?

See their website where they today announce a ban on the sale of Single Premium PPI, which is a big win for this thread and it should make it easier to get your money back. (I will reply to all private messages asap)0

Hi all,
I have just started the process of reclaiming PPI from northern rock. However I have just notcied that on my loan agreement form I have not signed and ticked the box agreeing to PPI. I have signed and agree'd the loan but they specifically ask you to sign and agree the PPI. As this has not been signed does this make the agreement void? and would it make my reclaim case stronger?0 -
Hello,
I made a claim to my bank in August 2007 and made a claim for PPI x 2. This was turned down by the bank so I appealed to the banking ombudsman, although it has take well over a year I have now been offered a refund on one but not the other (the bank states that the other had clearly laid out Terms and Conditions).
I'm now not sure whether to accept the offer or not.
My question is, does anyone know whether this is a tactic used by the banks?
Many thanks

They have not calculated anything of what you have paid against the PPI. They have just taken the PPI figure without the interest and deducted the rebate and that is it and added the statutory interest. This is no way fair maxdp. I will have a go tomorrow though cause too tired tonight.
Just confirm to me that the amount of PPI that they write about are all without interest...??
Thank you Karen. Yes the amounts are all without interest. If you go further down the e mail I have:D set out the agreement figures on Loans 2 and 3 and you can see that is what they have used.
Appreciate your help.:mad:0 -
