Grrrrrrrrr I am so mad!!
Nothing to do with PPI I just need to rant!! I had flights booked with XL who went bust. It was covered by ATOL so I sent off my claim form to the travel agent I booked with. Anyway it turns out that the travel agent only sent the deposit to XL of £225 and they have now been holding the balance of £311 since the middle of September. This is my money!!! They said they are not doing any refunds until the week commencing 15 November because that's their year end!!! Yet another load of thieving barstewards!!!

Yeah it's sitting in their account when it should be in mine. I dunno, seems I have to fight for justice for everything. I told them if they don't give it back to me now I will contact ABTA, lol that will probably take years if they are anything like the FOS!!!0 -

Hi
This is my first posting and could do with some advice. I took a loan out with HFC Bank in 2005 for 5 years. Id never had a loan before so when I was told I needed PPI with my loan I just went along with it. I sent my first letter to them last week and got a reply today saying they are looking into it and will get back to me in due course.
Im confused though as to whether I should be claiming back the PPI as a whole or just the payments that Ive made to them in the last 3.5 years?
Also Im not sure what figure I should have in mind as to how much I will get back. If they make me an offer how do I know whether its the full amount or not?
Hope this make sense0 -
Have you got your puter sorted out now Di? Give us a shout if you haven't - might be able to help as I fix em for a living.
Thanks hunni and wow do you really?:j , well If I get any further problems I shall let you know thanks hunni.x
The problem seems to be on the internal battery I think, I have to keep my charger on charge on the lappy all the time or it will go off automatically...., today it seems to be okay.
You are very clever.......:T :TThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

You'd be better to take the battery out and keep the lappy on mains if possible, makes it a lot lighter too!0
