    Hi Toffee Penny

Yes do what Incipience suggests, I know not all times the CCA comes back within the SAR, although I think they may charge a £1 for requesting for this alone.
Ask them on this just in case.;)

    I ask myself,

Can they produce to you a true copy of a cca?

    mmmmhhhhhh:eek:

    Thanks for the reply Di,
The company is Halifax, if i decide not to go to FOS just yet how long should i give them?

    Right okay hun
    Your okay with Halifax then.;)

How long did it take them to reply to your first letter?

If it were 6 weeks after, then really they have another fortnight (14 days).
As they have 8 full weeks to respond, or give them 14 days anyway.;)

Then if you do not hear anything at all I would still proceed with the FOS and enclose copies of correspondence you have from Halifax, also send Halifax a copy as of the complaint form as well, if they do not uphold this in your favour, as soon as they know its within the FOS they can still reconsider, if so and its good news, then let the FOS know.:D

Not exactly with Peter, as this has been passed on. But loans are waiting to go to solicitors.

  • HFC Have changed their minds Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!

After telling me I could only have my refund by offsetting against what I still owe and me being on the phone everyday until they told me what I wanted to hear, they're sending me the forms today for me to sign to say I agree with the refund amount, now they've added the 8% interest, and to confirm I want a chq.

Then I need to sort my remaining payments so reduce them by a messly £4 a month but hey its better in my pocket.

Just wondering now how long it'll take for the chq to arrive??????

Wow well done.........:T :T  , wow that was quick wasn't it? lol :T .

Unfortunately depending on what sort of cover it was, some do not reduce by much at all, but wow bet your pleased they changed their minds?

Good work hun.:T :T Congratulations to you.

When you receive the forms, they generally give you 14 days to my knowledge and experience of this, I would also enclose a letter to tell them you will appreciate this payment within 14 days of them receiving this, again post by recorded delivery to check to make sure they have received your signed documents.;)

    Great news that.......:D :j .
