hi mentioned About an SAR request containing the telephone conversatinons. Just rang Halifax and they have said they only keep a record of them for 6 months, is this true or are they just spinning me a line?

6 Years is the Data Protection Requirements
  • Please help me!! :D

Received Barclaycard SAR details through today which was just card statements THAT's IT!!!

Nothing else, a letter enclosed states 'The information we have enclosed relating to this account is all that we hold'

This is in relation to ppi reclaiming on OH credit card for self employment. Barclaycard replied to the template letter we sent from here saying a box was ticked on the application form requesting ppi and they would be sending this within 4 weeks but yet the SAR has proved they have no details of the account, no cca, no terms and conditions, no application, just statements

    So what now?

Should we be - or :T

    thanks guys

Write back and request the full disclosure.

    Hi Toffee Penny

Yes do what Incipience suggests, I know not all times the CCA comes back within the SAR, although I think they may charge a £1 for requesting for this alone.
Ask them on this just in case.;)

  • Oh! :o

I thought it meant I could do a runner and they had to pay me every penny back I've ever paid to them :rotfl: be nice though if it were true wouldn't it?

I only did the SAR to get the application form information that they said they had and details of ppi related calls, letters etc

Should I include the request for ppi again or just SAR details?

If they do not provide cca I have read on here that the debt is not enforceable, it was never a dispute about what we owe just about ppi reclaim. I'm hoping this obviously strengthens our chances at a refund.

    Hi again

Should I be requesting my SAR from Picture (who mis-sold me the PPI) or from FSCS. Or should I just go straight to FSCS and request the forms.

    Thanks
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

When did you take out this finance toffee penny?, I need reminding at times lol.

If this was over the last 6 years they should really have this CCA, you have a right to this, if you get any problems, contact the ICO here and see what they say about this:
    https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx

So regarding the PPI, have you already wrote to them to reclaim on this hun?
Or do you mean write again ?

Was there any recordings amongst your SAR?
