Glad it got there hum great news, now to wait for the better news lol :T :T, thanks for letting us know X;)
This is the hardest question though "Did you tell the advisor about any concerns you might have had about the policy and cover provided?"
Now, this was taken out in 2006, so we cannot remember what was said at to the advisor at time, how should we answer the questions as we don't want to give misleading information in case we trip up.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
Back in June 04 my finances were a bit wayward and received the usual call (at the time) from the Bank you over your overdraft etc etc ever thought of consolidating your debt........
5 minutes later I was applying for a consolidated loan of £20k and because of my finance position I would only be able to secure the loan if I took out payment protection (allegedly)........
10 minutes later I went down to my local HSBC branch signed the paper work and money in my account nothing about PPI being optional or outlining the costs......
The loan was paid in full last Feb 08 however it has only dawned on me that I was massively mis-sold this product and have submitted my claim today.
Feel this isn't goign to be my last post on this thread as I believe the PPI amount to be around £6k HSBC may play hard ball.0 -
Right then, well I've received a questionnaire back requesting details such start / end date / premium payable, which I've no idea as we've never received any policy details, what should we put?

I had a questionnaire with one of my credit cards, I hope they have said this is optional to fill in. Just fill in what you can and leave blank what you cant.
Some people just send them back blank saying you should already have all the information. Its up to you.DS1 12/10/04

Hi
Am sure Di will answer when she gets back on. Presume you have sent off for a SAR. Wait until you get this back then you may be able to answer the questions. Some of them do send these forms out. I know others on here refused to fill them in. If you cannot remember what you replied to the red question then put that in there. What was your original complaint. How did you feel miss sold.:mad:0 -

Hi There
Sounds like you have a good case here. Fingers crossed for you.:mad:0 -
Just received a letter from the fos saying they have contacted TPF for further information about my case. As soon as they are able to do so my case will be passed to an adjudicator.
Lets hope this is soon x0 -
