well done how long did it take you im sending my forms out tomorrow to the ombudsman

    Hi Sue

Need to be patient can take 9 months to one year depending on the case. Make sure you send copies of the forms you send to the Ombudsman to your lender. just to keep them in the loop and show them you are serious.

    Good Luck:D

Hi maxdp, hope you are doing ok

been on the mortgage forum about the base rate cuts... I got offered 1.8% tracker last month and turned it down cause of the fee they wanted of £1500 to do it and now I am kicking myself. I have the illustration still and want to know if they will still offer the same to me tomorrow. God I feel so annoyed at myself.

    Thats a stinker Marshallka

Understand if you have tracker or variable then you are on to a winner. I have a fixed until next May, so not so good for me. Give them a go you never know. Good Luck. :D

    Hi maxdp
All the salesman asked us was how much we would like to pay each month for the suite, we said about £50, and lo and behold, the payments were £50.40, no mention of ppi or any questions as to whether we were covered anywhere else

    Hi again di,
All the letter said that CSL weren't part of the GISC, so they couldn't take the matter any further

    Hi dreamer,
Thanks for this, yes it was CSL sofas, I will try these below & see if it gets me anywhere

    Thanks to everyone

    Hi

Have you got copies of all your agreements and have you just written or have you rung them as well. Am sure somebody else here will be able to tell you where you can try now. Mine have all been in jurisdiction (I think) and have not had that problems but know others have here.

I have got a tracker til next month and then it goes to SVR and I don't think that all lenders are passing the 1.5% onto SVR. Have to wait and see. I really need this....
