Been on the Mortgage thread all night about this one... . I want to know if Intelligent Finance are passing it to SVR customers.. I really doubt they will now and I have just refused the tracker they offered last month of 1.7% above BOE base rate... .

Giving them a call tomorrow see if they will still let me sign to it although I really doubt they will as they have withdrawn everything today... no LTV above 75% now... .

    Good luck Marshallka

My repayments for my mortgage are just over £745 a month and its fixed....... , but that was the best we could get at the time of remortgaging......

Blimey and I thought mine were high.

I pay for the mortgage insurance separately and have another cover to cover the house if anything happened, so the house is paid for, will have to have a look through all my docs, and hubby has life insurance for £45 a month, then we both pay £20 between us for term assurance, I am thinking we should have a good look to see what we really need.
I also pay out for Well woman every month and have kept that one going for the last 8 years, which is just as well I did as since then there have been a lot of family cancers..... .
And then we have the usual house insurance, gas and electric insurance, it all adds up does it and all this without the mortgage.

picture has been bought over and i was wondering if anyone has had any luck claiming from them, i wrote to the FSO and they have passed my case to the FSCS, i emailed them the other day and this is what they said

`The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) must consider all claims in line with our rules, as set by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Under these rules, before we can consider the eligibility of an investor’s claim against a firm, we must first be satisfied that the firm in question is financially unable to meet the claims that have been brought against it. We can only consider a claim for compensation if no other party is in a position to do so.

We have nearly completed our investigation into the solvency position of Picture Financial Services Plc, and are currently reviewing your claim to see if it is eligible for compensation under our rules`

I REALLY want to know if they are going to take my claim forward,
look forward to hearing from anyone who has got anywhere with this

    Hi there

Pinknico on here as a claim registed within the FSCS regarding Picture, so its well worth getting a claim in, time is running on and maybe with a bit of luck they will be declared as going into default.

I also have a claim within the FSCS but about another loan company.

The info the FSCS given you is a standard response.;)

You go for it, hopefully you will not have to wait too long now.
    Good luck !

Well apart what I have coming in every month we are now into the savings, and am hoping to build my account back up soon if hubby's compo goes in the bank next week (fingers crossed), then he should be returning to work from the sick.
    Its not been easy.
