I'm desperate to find a loophole in this, and think I've got somewhere.
I put £40.81 in the car the other day, expecting 81p cashback. Just looked at online statement and I actually got 82p cashback. They rounded it up where I was expecting them to truncate it. So I got 2.01%.

So, if you can be bothered to get petrol in 25p (maybe 26p depending on how they do it) bursts then you get 4% (3.8% if you get 26p) cashback.

Again not worth doing (and actualy I think they have a minimum amount you can fill up with) but amused me all the same.

I asked Egg and they said
"The shell cashback offer is specific to Egg Card Visa, and not Egg Money MasterCard, sorry".

This contradicts their T&C's which says [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] "All offers are valid for Egg Card and Egg Money customers".

I'm definately getting the instant cashback on my Egg Money Mastercard.
