I'm not getting it, I sent a message and they sent back a reply with a link to a blank webpage that was supposed to explain why I am not eligible... Anyone else with egg money not getting the cashback?

I am not getting the cashback on my egg money mastercard - emailed and they replied saying they would look into it

I recently found out about this cashback offer so I used my Egg card to pay for fuel at my local Shell garage. NO instant cashback so I sent a secure message to Egg who replied that it only applies at participating retailers only - I'm not happy as otherwise I would have used a different card to give me reward points instead. Anyone else had this experience?

I HAD been getting it, having NOT been getting it. Bought petrol the other day and no instant cashback has appeared on my Egg Money recent transactions list, despite the petrol transaction being there. Looking further back this month I see that the instant CB is immediately credited below the initial transaction. That's not the case this time, and I've checked the Shell website from the Egg link which shows participating stations and the one I used is on the list. Will send a secure message to Egg to query it. It's only about 40p! but it's the principle of it

My last 2 transactions (Egg Money) did not get ICB so I emailed them and they manually adjusted. Note that on the previous one it happened automatically.

Mine seems to have gone through OK, annoyingly though our local (cheap!) shell petrol station is closed for a refurb now. Typical!

The Waterstones instant cashback was a good deal too - that also came through with no problems.

Added manually after a month, so fair enough but bit of a delay. I think some franchises they have trouble recognising the merchant as one to apply the cashback to as another shell I used worked fine. Waterstones cashback eh - will investigate...

I had one not added automatically but I messaged them and they put it in manually to my account. A good deal if you are buying petrol regularly. Shell is the cheapest place where I live.

I received the instant cashback for my first few transactions at the local Shell garage. Then when I next checked I noticed the next three from the same garage weren't credited. Secure messaged Egg. They responded within 2 days and manually added the correct sum 2 days after that.

It then worked OK at another Shell garage but then failed to appear a couple of days ago when I used my local Shell. So SM'd Egg again requesting a manual transfer. Going through now.

Looks like there's a technical gremlin somewhere in the system so best to check your online statements regularly and SM Egg as soon as you see its missing.
