No emails yet. I expect to get the acknowledgement of order in a day or two, and the Order Confirmation (the one with the PDF's) will probably be a couple of days thereafter.

I expect a telephone call from them anyway as after submitting the order I realised that the expiry date on the credit card is this coming Tuesday :-/

I hope my earlier reply has not caused you to order something you don't want. As stated by escapee, flat panel monitors are flat screens, but then some CRT monitors have flat screens too. If you have downgraded the 19" CRT to the 17" CRT then you will get a "normal" monitor, not a TFT Flat panel one. If the description is "flat panel monitor" then it is a TFT

For those who were asking about graphics cards for the basic Dell pc I spotted these few on Scan.

All pci so should work in a dell no agp slot machine. Not sure just how bad the extreme graphics are on the dell but probably just uses your ram.

DELL 15" (15.0" VIS) ANALOGUE FLAT PANEL MONITOR is a TFT monitor. It will only have the analogue (blue, 15 pin) input which is fine for this machine.
