Wow - I'm definitely going to try and hunt down some of the £1 miniature Moet et Chandon champagne bottles - what a brilliant bargain!
(Are you sure it's real champagne, and not bubble bath or something?!)0 -
I found 'roasted corn nuts' in the snack section, I am hooked, I have never seen these anywhere else except Walmart in America.
A tasty alternative to peanuts.0 -

In the 99p stores in Catford yesterday I got a Santa dressing up outfit for my son (3yrs) which he hasn't taken off since, and nice velevet Christmas stockings to hang up by the fireplace. They've got a lot of quite nice looking Christmas decs too but I didn't have time to check them out properly.0

In poundland today I bought a handy pressie for a chum - well worth the £1 too.
A Camera Tripod with telescopic legs - it has a universal fitting and can be used on digital, compact or any camera. It is a compact design too as well as being light yet strong.0 -
Our poundland has minature Moet and Chandon bottles that I thought would be good for stocking fillers - or to drink!! A pound for a bottle of Moet - can't go wrong
I bought 25 of them - a lot more champers than in 1 normal sized bottle lol:T
I asked the manager in my local poundland, he said that as poundland has not got an off sales licence he can not see how any of the stores would have been selling this unless it was an 'alcohol free' alternative:beer:    :beer:0 -
I have a feeling the Moet story was a porkie - the person who posted that hasn't told us which store it came from. Can't see them selling that. Happy to be proved wrong though as I would like some. Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550
