hugs to all that need them everyone seems to be having a rough week. i havnt done any flying much this week with kids off going to work and working for oh but he seems to thats not enough all he has done all week is point out the things i havnt done ive just about had enough i just feel like a good cry today i havnt felt like that for a while feel like telling him to f right off. its all because i asked him to put some more insulation in the loft while its half price at b&q we have only lived here six years and he promised me he would do all the work quickly if i moved here nothing is finished any where:mad: i try and keep everything tidy but there isnt much incentive when half your room has skirting boards and the other half hasnt everywhere needs redecorating the shower needs fitting the rest of the grouting needs doing doors need painting i could go on forever. we could afford to pay some one to do some of these things but he thinks he can do it better  if i arrange for someone to come they arent good enough:mad: he, spent the summer landscaping the garden ready for a new house we are due to start next year but what about this one i think . we should have started this year but i gave up a well paid job as an assistant home manager because they wanted me to work 12hour shifts days or nights and i have 2 children and i found that unreasonable:mad: i cant think why!im sorry for the rant i feel a bit better i might just go and do a bit of flying now.
hugs for you too sammiell - make a list of the things that need doing and pin it up in the kitchen and try to make him get started on it - could you get the loft stuff in so that he doesnt have any option but to do it? the same goes for you too - please feel free to rant whenver you need - we will always listen and try to help - as for the things he says you havent done tell him the things you have done - you cant do everything - its just not possible - do the necessary bits for the kids and then little extra bits that will make life easier - just keep chipping away at it and dont let him get to you - I know its easier said than done but if he is still that way when you are in tears then it doesnt seem to me that it bothers him that you are upset so dont let him see that it does IYSWIM?? just look as if it is all washing right over your head - that will probably get to him more!!

keep posting and tell us how its going.
    toots xx

:T Well done you - after yesterday's Triker definitions I think we are ALL being too hard on ourselves - that focussed my mind!
We should not just concentrate on what we haven't done...but what we have managed - and for some flyladies - in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds...

my £2 tin isn't completely full (Xmas pot) but I don't think I'll manage to put any more in that will make a difference, it's one of those tins you open with a can opener so no going back once it's cracked, should I open it tonight ?

Mine £2 'tin' is a terrunmdi (sp) some once I break it that is it, and even worse I cannot remember how much I have in it!!

Well that Sizzling beef recipe was lovely and very easy to make. Think I may have overdone it on the chilli a bit. After tasting that I will not be buying one from the take away any more.

Having five then tacling the kitchen.

Dusty, depends on your laundrette, my nearest one you wash/dry yourself using coin operated machines, there is another near me which does the duvets for you in machines they have out the back. I think the last time I took one it cost £8 but I tend to buy lighter duvets now and wash them in my machine....

pigpen, you need to go have a quiet half an hour in dark room, flaming mad woman, what on earth are you ironing that much for, it's just not safe.

boddy I might have to see if the library has that book in, I love chinese food but useless at making it.

Hmmmmm think Megan has upset tummy as she's floor licking again......wonder what she's eaten this time that she shouldn't. Firework display tonight somewhere near here....time to try to force feed the dog his herbal meds.

I think there has been a lot of negativity just lately - no-one's fault, the nights are drawing in (yuck) the weather is often dull, damp, drizzly and miserable (yuck yuck yuck) and so much unwellness and so many troubles...so I am hoping to remind us all we are not superwoman (except Sarahshattered cos she has the outfit:rotfl: ) we do the best we can I feel and I was hoping to inject a bit of positivity - totally selfish though as I really feel it when it's dark and cold and damp...so I'm going to say

    :T well done all flyladies!

Hope that's ok with you all!

BTW next door neightbours have invited me to their party tonight ...note to self - get a bucket ready and have Stardrops on standby!
