Hi Froddy, just in case, when you open it, put an old or dirty towel down and tuck it under the machine, you will get water coming out and that will be there to mop it up and stop it running under the machine... amazing what you find in those little suckers... ;)

To get to mine you have to take of the panel at the bottom of the machine, as it's underneath it. And make sure you check very carefully that you've put it back properly, otherwise you'll deep clean the floor like I did last time :o

Right, have put some stuff on freecycle, so we'll see whether anyone bites... off to the farm shop, then the tip, then possibly to pick up the glass top for my cabinet if the place is open (no answer when I ring), B&Q for a kitchen sink, then back to sort out more stuff in the garage into freecycle/tip piles.

Awwww big hugs Johanne - I really feel for you. Why not just wash ONE plate, ONE set of cutlery and ONE cup for you to use and leave the rest for OH to deal with?

If you were closer, I'd come round and help you. Maybe we really do need to think about a flylady hit squad who just go in and help out those other flyladies having a difficult time with a smile, a clean duster and a box of chocolates for the suffering flylady..

Johanne, vent away, sounds like you need to...

How about doing what Soappie says and then just concentrate on one area, somewhere you can excape to for a bit when you feel like this and just take a bit of time for you and sarah? is there somewhere you could do like that?

I know when it gets like that here I just feel totally overwhelmed and haven't a clue where to start - not only housework but my other stuff too - you know you have to do it, but starting is the hardest bit. Don't spread yourself too thin, give yourself some time slots, maybe do some HHC's - if you're singing and dancing along to some loud music would Sarah sort of want to join in the boogying? They are just my tuppence worth, and I know they might not work for you, but just do bitesize chunks and 'try' not to stress about it - it will still be there tomorrow but your sanity might not be if you let it get to you - baby steps and lots of rest in between... Take care honey...

I love the idea of a hit squad though, t could be like the tic tac ads... a little group of strange looking people dedicated to helping sort your home and making you smile while you curl up on the sofa with a book, a cup of hot chocolate and a box of dairymilk (or whatever you like to eat...) Can they come to my house first...:o

just wanted to pop on and say a flylady has come to assist me... Nicki has took Sarah out for few hours! :) So off im going to crack on.... first priority is the dishes... im starving!!

I would love to leave them but theres NO point TELLING him to do them or he will leave them on purpose and tell me he's not a child so dont speak to him like one... (no comment! ) and i have been leaving them till he does them, hence why there is not one single clean knife fork plate or glass... his solution the night before last was to go the chippy for tea and get chips to eat with our fingers instead of washing up!

So for my OWN sanity im doing them.. plus they are starting to smell and that cant be healthy to be preparing food and bottles for sarah in a kitchen so dirty! :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o
