    Hi all.
Not managed to post all week, have been busy trying to catch up with my flying...which I have done, just off to finish the kitchen in a mo.
Have got loads of little jobs done as well....
Paint work patched up where I had new plugs put in
Filled a hole in wall....dont ask!!
    Weeded the front
Stuff on front went to the tip
    Cleaned out car
    Sorted all paperwork
Level 3 on playroom - bag full of toys to the tip
tidied out the garage and then put all the stuff for a carboot in there

erm...cannot think of anything else off the top of my head but have to say that all of this lot has made the house seem a lot more organised and I'm looking forward to next week where I will try to do one room a day and hopefully have a bit more spare time!!!

Oh and the best bit.......I had a phone call friday to say that I have won a weekend break at champneys with £400!!!! So excited, cannot wait to go!!

    XXXX
    WIN £2008 in 2008 £1836.31 2009 wins - £91!!! 2010 wins in Oz $ 6170.... wins 2011 aprox $2000
MFIT - number 37. Reduce my mortgage from £63,500 to £48,000. now at 54,000...
  • I've now done downstairs (except washing the floors as the dogs keep coming in and out, so I've given up on that in this weather :( )

Bedroom is done (except for DVD's, etc) and bathroom done too, just study and DS's bedroom again, but he's gone out (I'll be back in 2 minutes - that was 2 hours ago) and I refuse to do it for him.

I'm just starting on the study/spare room now, need to sort the washing in there and put away my filing ready to sort out the next lot. have done the DW, washing on, one load drying on airer and 3 more piles ready to go (probably be about 8 once DS has put his in the wash!) so have been quite productive, but have a thumping headache that just will not shift and it's making me feel sick and dizzy... trying to work through it but may have to give in soon...

See you all in a bit,
    D x

Definitely :D Although I do have to agree with what pigpen said as there does seem to be a higher proportion of left handers where I work (in special schools)

    johanne - huge hugs

flower and greenbee - thanks for the warnings!

liuhut - congrats on the win

Have been at the church Autumn Fayre all morning on the raffle! It was really busy and 5 hours just flew by! Sleepy now though and the weather is yuck. Feeling a bit down so may doze in front of the tv for a bit. Supposed to be going to a Silver Wedding do tonight do need to get some enthusiasm from somewhere!!!!

    [strike]
    Morning
    [/strike]Oops afternoon all..

had a disturbed night DD has her aunt visiting and was in agony (only second time) so had to fuss her - clearly she is going to be like me .. stomach cramps but at least it means warning and lots of loo visits as the cramps make you 'go' - her dad and his Gf picked her up and told me (at that point so hard cheese if you are going out) that they are off to Derby and may go to a bonfire - so asked DD if she had 'enough' with her - her dad looked blank but GF chipped in with 'I'll sort her out'. I appreciated it and genuinely thanked her...DD is quite embarrassed by the whole thing. I know I couldn't tell my (real) dad when it happened to me and used a roll of loo paper!

2 loads out on 2 lines which have dried - been to town , met my friend and treated her to lunch and gave her her pressie, put last lot of aired washing away and have filled the maiden again. 1 load to bring in then the dining room AKA hotspot heaven needs clearing because it's at the depressing stage now and the last thing I need is depressing...so I have read and will reply then off I go again!

I've been in the half hearted no man's land of the sofa. SS

Hope you feel better soon hun - clearly though your brain and empathy aren't adversely affected...

Having said all of that we rarely fill either bin due to the amount of recycling we do, I just wish they would collect plastic. We have to take that to Morrisons so South Yorkshire get the benefit, there are no facilities our county
My Morrisons (A619) takes plastic and I can tell you there are other places near here too!

Valli - I'd definitely recommend the Shaws throw as it's so thick. I know there may be cheaper ones around, but I've not seen any so heavy. Also for cold feet, Milletts do "apre-Ski" bootees a bit like slippers, but with reasonably thick soles. I prefer wheat bags to hot water bottles and they are very cheap in Bodycare. Raynaud's sounds very likely and there is a support group. It can be medicated but sometimes surgery is offered if it's really severe. DB has it quite badly and DH has mild problems. I've even got mini wheat bags that fit in your pocket for hand warming and I don't have Raynauds! x
Where'd you get it? Thanks for the handwarmer idea, too.

Thanks for all the messages really appreciate them. I thought i was just being unreasonable :o
He hasnt made the bed... because hes not been sleeping in it instead hes been sleeping on the sofa for the past week! Not because ive made him btw... because ive been going to bed and hes sat up late watching cage fighting, football or other random tv whilst surfing the net and falls asleep i come down in the morning and find the table full of beer cans and sweet/chocolate wrappers. So obviously has a jolly time once im in bed.
(((hugs))) you have reminded me why I am happily single...there is NOT ONE of us who would think that you were unreasonable, I am certain.

Why do SOME men think that if their lady stays at home with kids she will do ALL the housework and they need to do s*d all? Or even if she works part time?
Big hugs Johanne. No you are not being unreasonable! And shouting and swearing at a baby? Sorry, but i wouldnt be putting up with that!
Quite right too G&B well said...because the next thing ie going a stage further is unthinkable..I wish I had been a little stronger once:o

I have told him if it continues hes out the door.... infact hes on a warning that if he doesnt change ALOT of things by Christmas he best find somewhere else to live. :(
Good for you - be specific though and make it utterly clear and what he needs to do, and when, to stay - I always said it was like having 3 kids...
Hi Froddy, just in case, when you open it, put an old or dirty towel down and tuck it under the machine, you will get water coming out and that will be there to mop it up and stop it running under the machine... amazing what you find in those little suckers... ;)
I always clean out mine just before I do a towel wash for that exact reason...there is loads with this new one - my other one never had water in!

just wanted to pop on and say a flylady has come to assist me... Nicki has took Sarah out for few hours! :) So off im going to crack on.... first priority is the dishes... im starving!!

I would love to leave them but theres NO point TELLING him to do them or he will leave them on purpose and tell me he's not a child so dont speak to him like one... (no comment! ) and i have been leaving them till he does them, hence why there is not one single clean knife fork plate or glass... his solution the night before last was to go the chippy for tea and get chips to eat with our fingers instead of washing up!

So for my OWN sanity im doing them.. plus they are starting to smell and that cant be healthy to be preparing food and bottles for sarah in a kitchen so dirty! :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o
    The lazy so-and-so!
You're probably right there...I would focus on what is really needed - clean dishes and a made bed. Hope you're not clearing up after his late night snack sessions...I believe it is called 'enabling'...he is an adult, and a parent and needs to behave like one. Hope you don't mind hun but been there done that and GOT THE DECREE ABSOLUTE:T
    Well done Nicki...
