    I am o.k. in August up until the 13th then I'm on my family holidays for a fortnight.But usually I am around .I look forward to seeing the place in Blackheath as I went to school there back in the 1950s and its another place thats changed out of all recognition by now

    Not sure when I shall re-emerge, JackieO, but I shall try my best to sort my life out and organise something, if not in August we might have to leave it to late September as I am away for the middle 2 weeks.

    But hopefully someone else can take the initiative and organise something before then!
    Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    ok i'm up for a challenge, how about a meet up around the end of july, how about the 31st?

    i'm based in surrey but can travel into london so next up we need ideas, last one i went to was at the IWM and was great fun!

    hmmmm how about sthg touristy? maybe meet at the tower and wander down the river to festival hall, then down to county hall and thro to the noodle bar there for sthg to eat?

    any one up for it? or got another idea?

    Its my wed anni on the 28th and hubby has told me not to book anything on the Saturday, no idea if he means day or evening though and he's not in at the mo to ask.

    Have spoken to hubby I can do daytime on the sat 31st or sun 1st :D
    Cant do daytime following week :o but free anytime after that till Xmas:D

    Like your idea IOIWE, I've seen a market before along the Thames in the summer.

    If that dates no good for anyone else, I'll make the next one.
