OS meet up?

If only it was this week for the Ikea meet! I am in the Croydon area on Friday for a funeral and staying with a friend that night so could easily have nipped up the purley way to meet up on the saturday before heading back to midlandsville! have a great time!

Vanoonoo what a pity, on Friday you will be at the funeral I presume, but it would have been good to meet. Can you not ask your friend to put you up on the Saturday of the Ikea meet? It would be great to see you!

aw thanks Caterina sadly it wont work out as we've got visitors here that weekend, but if that changes for any reason I'll come back and add myself to the list of attendees!

Thank you to all the dear friends who attended this meet, small (ish) but perfectly formed as always! The OS magic always happens.

Please, please, if you have never been to one of the meet, come along to the next one, it is really great to make friends and share ideas, thoughts, coupons and small bits and pieces.

The next scheduled one is in Ikea Croydon (see first post).

If you are far away from London, consider starting your own RL meet up because they are such fun.

From one meet up to the other we are told (by the non-planning, consumer society oriented spendthrifts of this world) that we are weird, tight, mean, crazy, paranoid, you name it and I have heard it, then we meet up and we discover so many things in common that it feels like we have all known each other forever. Great feeling, so comforting!

Had a great time, and they do great egg and chips too. Amazing how time flies, was nearly 4pm before we all said goodbye.
And purpleclutterbuck brought some great fair isle socks she is knitting, so impressive.
Looking forward to croydon.
