Evening all
Wish I could say I've been so busy being OS today that I haven't been able to post. Instead I've had a raging hangover. Went out last night with lots of colleagues who have had their ward closed. As farewell parties go it was quite tame. Nurses really do know how to have a good time when they go out en-masse.
CANDY hugs to you and yours.
GLAD OMG  .
SNOWY hugs to you and Dylan.
Big hugs to anyone else who needs one.
It's rained here all day today
Tea tonight is sweetpotatoe and cheese bake, baked beans and bacon.
Have a good night all.

Hi all
Big hugs to everyone that wants one today.
What a stressful day i've had today.
I bought my DD a cabinet from vertbaudet and tried to build it this afternoon but it was a nightmare... Its still in 2 peices so I need to get off here and go finish it off now I suppose.
My DW has started to leak, when I moved the small chest freezer next to it, there were rust marks all over the floor from the bottom of the freezer so my dh had to scrub for about an hour to get it off. We have moved the freezer to the garage but think i will need to get a plumber in to look at the leak!
We managed to get rid of of my Dining room table today on freecycle so we are now going to use the dining room for our boxes when they are packed ready for the move.
DD and DS have been in naughty mode all day, they have fought and whinged and cried and screamed all day:eek: I couldn't wait to put them to bed tonight.
My slow cooker soup from yesterday was gorgeous. I have it batched up ready for lunches this week so should save me a fortune on lunches.
right off to finish this cabinet now!
enjoywhats left of the weekend all

Hi everyone,
What a great thread. I have enjoyed reading all your posts and I am sorry to hear that some of you have not had a great day.
Today I have had a very lazy day but I am proud of myself that at last I have managed to repair the buttons on a jacket and a cardigan, a task that I have put off for months. Needle work is the most boring task that I can think off but I also know that losing a button can be very expensive and very annoying if it's on a favourite item.
Sending a hug to those who feel that they need one.
Have a nice week.
