Still on the e-cigs - spend out £130 on supplies ( including e-cigs - gamucci, riva and sdkeyring) would have spent £420 on nasties as now 10 weeks since stopped, be 11 on Wednesday. So at moment averaging out at £11.50 a week but in reality been £0 for 3 weeks and will be for at least 3 more and maybe longer. Could not imagine smoking real ones again and am finding am using e-cigs less and less so not bought any new e-liquids for about 3 weeks or so and don't plan to until my stock gets very low in the hope I will not need to as will have stopped vaping by then. Still using the 18 -20mg e-liquid but with vaping less body slowly being broken from its addiction. I will not let myself run out and suffer withdrawal, that would be pointless after using the e-cigs but don't want to be addicted forever to their use either. Still would not have stopped smoking the nasties without them, and as I only bought my first e-cig just to cut down, stopping has been a total extra bonus for me.Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

that's interesting PAH...
am now on 14mg/ml (self mixing) but vaping like a trouper past few days...Hope it eases off soon
I spend about £15 a week on supplies...How come yours is so low? I mean by the time I've bought base liquid (£40 for a few months), PG and VG (now realise I need a mix of the two) and flavourings and the odd battery it soon adds up....
Don't even mention my home made tanks in January (about £30 for loads) and my two lavatubes (one I got wet) and like my paws mod ...
What's the stardust like btw? Is it any good with the riva? Thinking of getting one for a friend who wants to start vaping.....with a pink (has to be pink) riva......Newbies best friend I figure from all my research is the riva...LOL

I've been using e-cigs for just over 2 months, spent about £160 on getting a decent e-cig, cartomisers, iMist and Rainbow Vision and of course, juices and if I had bought packs of analogues during that time, based on an average price of £6 per pack every other day and at weekends I would buy 40, I would have spent to date approx £252.00. I have saved approx £92 to date, this is just an approximate estimate, but I have saved:j
I still have quite a few juices in my bathroom cabinet so dont really have to buy any just yet....... but I do see flavours that I've not tried and fancy trying so I buy them:D All I need to replace every so often are the iMist and Rainbow Vision to use with the e-cig, these 2 products are fab for vaping, I find them much better than normal atties and cartomisers:)
I started using e-cigs as for health reasons I needed to stop smoking, none of the NRT was working for me, patches made me itch, the gum and lozenges tasted awful and gave me heartburn and hiccups and the spray just didnt help at all.........all through these other forms I would still smoke nasties, although a few years back I did stop for 18months with the help of patches, but due to stress I started again. Tried patches again and started reacting to them.
E-cigs are much better, I can now say that since getting my Riva I have not touched an analogue and can go to any cigarette counter (just to get my lottery ticket, honest:rotfl:) and not had any interest in buying a pack....... so yes e-cigs have worked for metotal airhead, total bimbo, very superficial:D0 -
and not a fag at all.
I've had the odd, very odd craving, but nothing that lasted more than a few seconds and was easily banished.
So far, I've tried Yunyan (which came with the first e-cig kit), apple, chocolate, menthol, strawberry, cherry and RY4.
I've been alternating between chocolate and RY4 for the past week and find that a fairly good setup. Get bored with one, use the other. The RY4 is one I'd heard a few people recommend, and it's OK. A mix of tobacco, fruit, and new shoes0 -
Its good to hear all this good stuff, mainly the fact that once you switch, you just don't want or need to go back to "real" cigarettes.
When something is described as "real" it normally denotes "better" except no, not in this case!0 -
LOL Money
Yeah really I've spent like less than 1% on cigs once I got the hang of vaping...It took me about 3 months to properly get settled on it. But even then just an oz every 3 weeks and that was more about personally not starting at the right strength of e-liquid...
Let us know how you get on Money. Think the chappie in norfolk is selling the 52mg e-liquid - approx 250ml or maybe a little more for about £40 inc P+P or just under...

Can someone tell me where I can find the chappie in Norfolk, is there a link anywhere. Also, may sound like a silly question but are you allowed to take the ecigs through security at the airport, my husband thinks they may take them off him. Would just like to say my husband has been a really heavy smoker for 50 years and never wanted to give up but since he tried vaping at the end of March he hasn't had 1 cig, I'm sure he's been abducted by aliens and they've brought him back, :rotfl:0

Hi Jamieboy
. I'm not certain, but I think Erme may mean this chappie that sell everything you need for DIY juice -
http://www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/E-liquids/cat649231_573931.aspx
But if you don't want to mess around with mixing your own juices, places like Vapourworld UK sell 50ml ready mixed for about £10.70.
http://vapourworld.co.uk/shop/catalog/browse?shop_param=
Or even cheaper if you buy direct from China in bulk
Well done to your husbandI've heard of loads of people taking their e-cigs through customs & having no problems at all.

There sadly are some e-cig suppliers charging a fortune for over priced, poor quality e-cigs & very overpriced refillsHowever, there are some really good guys out there
