Renegrade glad you got it sorted, yes after the automatics its not something you think of straight away to do, press a button, I am forever forgetting to when going to riva after sd keyring.......enjoy

You don't say what carto you have?

If the riva won't vape, then you may have a problem with either the battery, the charger, or the connection on the battery (riva). Sometimes the centre pin of the riva battery can sink a bit and not connect with the centre connection of the carto. Normally this happens when you use different 510 connectors, that are different sizes, not when it is a brand new battery.

Are both batteries the same?

Funny old business - in the past month I spent more on getting e-cigs and bits and pieces than I did smoking, but now I'm well set up for some proper saving. Hopefully, I won't be splashing out very much - the odd bit of hardware and a fairly regular purchase of juice, but I reckon it will average out at less than a tenner/week, perhaps as low as a fiver. Not bad, from spending 35/wk on baccy.

I had MAJOR stress yesterday (and some good stuff too )....I went down the allotments (and got one ) but in the process the water bottle leaked all over my bag ...one dead phone and one dead lavatube...Had two cigs.

Phone working...lavatube isn't (despite putting both in rice overnight).....any tips? lavatube comes on when you put the battery in then dies....could it just need more drying out? At least I have the paws mod though even that wasn't working for half last night (cue nic withdrawal LOL)....

I have been lucky my lookalikes, riva and sd keyring plus assorted e-liquids has come to around £150 but would have spent £318 ( nhs tracker) by now so am well ahead, not that any of it has been saved but have enjoyed myself buying books, plants and clothes I otherwise would not have afforded. I used to feel guilty when I bought myself something I did not actually need as was spending so much on smoking and money was tight but slowly that guilt is going. Not planning on spending anything else e-cig wise until I must, although that might be a bit sooner than planned as I cannot find my sd keyring charger at the moment, supposed to be put into my little shelving unit when not in use but I obviously didn't put it there so got to have a search to see if I can find it, if not will as I keep promising myself buy a another sd keyring.

Sounds like it does just need to dry out a bit more, could take a few days. Why don't you buy a few disposables to keep aside for days like that, I do as I will not allow myself to buy or smoke the real things again. Yesterday I was in MR S and someone beside me obviously had not long had a cigarette and for first time I really noticed the smell, can't say I found it bad, but I really noticed it and now I realise that is how I smelt to others, but again had not desire to go and buy any or have one thankfully.

I don't blame you for getting stressed and having a cig, did you enjoy it? I had a couple of drags on Fri night when v drunk and thought it was terrible, all i could taste was burning!

Prep, the keyring charger is dinky, good luck finding it. You could always ask on the other forum if anyone has a spare you could have?

Farz, I need to stop spending, you are right though, once set up there is no reason that vaping cannot be relatively cheap!
