thanks for that. I didnt even realise these things existed until last night when my dad handed me an article from a magazine he was reading. He was a smoker for years so knows how hard it is to quit. I did manage to quit a few years back with the aid of patches and im ready to try anything this time. The e cig appeals because it still gives you that hand to mouth thing.
Ive had a look at oksmokey site and the prices do seem good compared to other companies. Can you tell me how long the e cig is they supply, or can you get different lengths.0 -

Mike - it is heavier than a normal cig - as I learnt other day when tried to hold it in mouth hands free........ fell in my lap whilst driving - but of course, it didn't burn!!
One sort of down side ... I now notice that my car smells!! I'm going to get it valeted. Never noticed before that it 'stank' - and its only a couple of years old.Genie

im quite excited about this,,ive been wanting to quit for ages and kept putting it off, my 7 year old son keeps telling me he doesnt want me to die which tears me up as you'd imagine,,,so,,ive spent ages doing research over the past 48hours,,and decided I need something not too long, i realise the battery life is shorter, but im used to smoking rollies and just dont think a cig over 10cm would do for me. igetcha69 reviewed a mirage e cig on youtube which seemed to fit the bill, but their price was quite abit more than on the oksmokey site, but i managed to find the company that supplies them on ebay and they have a deal for £39.99 with 20 carts and a bottle of juice and 2 batteries.
heres the link if anyone wants to take a look http://http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120382043264&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=0020 -

I would like a smaller one - but as the one I am using is doing the trick and Oksmokey is providing me with carts that are spot on, I really don't want to spend out any more money - especially if they prove to be not that good!!
For now, I will stick with what I have - and possibly experiment later. Plus Oksmokey carts DO last longer than the batteries - I am saving money too!! Added bonus.Genie

I've just looked at your link - it doesn't look any different from the mini e cig. Recommend you go via a seller on here that one of us has used already. But it is up to you.Genie

If you order the EVO I do recommend that you also get the menthol cartridges which are much nicer than the regular ones supplied with the starter kit (even though I never liked menthol cigarettes). I got the Red Mighty Atom battery which is shorter than the Red Genie battery but only because they were out of stock (but they stuck in an extra atomiser free because of this).
I'll experiment with 'juice' further down the line because although the cost is important the health benefits are the most important thing for me. (Both mother and grandmother had cancer linked to smoking).
Jeannieblue and Veronanona, I am grateful to you both for your candid contributions and advice on these forums.
