Hi jeannieblue, how much does george charge for 50 refills for the DSE901??????0
-
No no no, just a humble warehouse man.0
-
But i bought a DSE901 and want to find the cheapest place to buy refills? Any ideas?0
-
Well apologies - always suspicious when someones first post mentions a company.
Oksmokey charges about £19.95 and free delivery for 50 cartridges0 -
I now have an EVO intellicig but I had to wait five days for it to arrive. I also haven't got quite what I ordered but they have given me a free atomiser as compensation.
I am quite pleased but don't like the taste which is something like stale, burnt butterscotch so I am looking forward to buying some mixed flavours to try.
So far I guess, I've cut down smoking my rollies by about 50% but I have to keep reminding myself to use it.
So thank you to everyone on this thread for alerting me to e-cigs because if anything helps me to stop smoking, you've most probably saved my life
Regards

i bought my black DSE901 from e-cig-savers, good price good friendly service.
I bought a white set from them - yes, e-cig-savers on eBay. It was totally faulty, I couldn't get it going at all, the atomisers felt hollow, I can't remember about the batteries (this was a week or two before Christmas). I tried all the tricks to get the atomisers going but no luck. I wrote to them. They said they had no more stock at that time and were awaiting a delivery of black Minis in January, when it arrived they would send me a new kit. They were true to their word with no prompting from me. However, when I started vaping with the new black Mini, after first thinking that I was getting the best vape ever, I realised that everything was getting very, very hot indeed, too hot to hold, searingly hot  When eventually I unscrewed the atomiser from the battery the screw fitting was left in the battery, the atomiser had come apart. You can imagine how I felt, I had just written to say "thanks, this is great" sorta thing
Before that I had had another problem with something from them and they replaced without question. I think they may have changed suppliers now, I'm surprised they kept going - they are red hot on customer service but had very bad luck with one of their suppliers.
Watters - did I tell you about one of the early e-ciggers who bought 2 Mini starter kits and a few extra cartridges well over six months ago and has never needed to buy anything else whatsoever since except juice? It's true, it makes me sick
Janty, generally regarded as a "class" manufacturer, the Janty Kissbox is adored by some, are shortly bringing out the "Dura-C". They've already done a Dura, which had problems apparently. http://www.smokejuice.co.uk/userimages/procart15.htm are selling a full kit of the old Dura with the option to swap in a part for the new Dura-C when it's available. I've only bought juice from these people in the past. Janty stuff is relatively expensive and is not readily available in the UK.
Some serious vapers are resorting to the Screwdriver is not currently available due to shortage of parts from China (their new year holiday causing delays). An individual has taken the Mini atomiser and adapted a torch body (I think) to accommodate a more powerful and much cheaper battery. The whole is hugely expensive but you only need one set and will, if you vape for any length of time, save money on running costs. Here's an eBay page purely to show you what it's like. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160308608686.
At the other end of the scale, the Super (Mini) gives less vape and has smaller carts, but it has its fans and may be more reliable in that not so many were carelessly produced. This Search on eBay includes many of the e-cigs on the market - http://health-beauty.shop.ebay.co.uk/items/_W0QQ_dmptZUKQ5fHealthQ5fHealthCareQ5fRL?_nkw=electronic+cigarette&_sacat=75047&_fromfsb=&_trksid=m270.l1313&_odkw=&_osacat=75047
I bought a Classic (Gamucci is an expensive brand of the same thing), more vape but less "hit", and one of the batteries died after very little use
Atomisers are regarded as disposable items that one must be prepared to replace on a regular basis. The same applies to Mini batteries.
Electronics generally seem to be so dodgy - I spend a lot of time in the PVR forums on Digital Spy and AV Forums, and "reliablility and consistency" are unknown in that world tooAlthough of course, you only hear from people with problems.
I've got to have a rest nowI'm just going to post this dreadful ramble E&OE

I am enjoying the e-cig but my boyfriend who is a 30 a day smoker says he isn't getting that nicotine hit from it. I understand what he means because I have been a non smoker for 18 months so I thought when I puffed on the e-cig I would get that sick lightheaded feeling of when you first try smoking. But I don't I get the same buzz as when I used to smoke. He has been using the high strength carts and I got the B&H juice High. Are there any carts or juices you recommend for a really good hit. What about the 36mg totally wicked liquids? Because he has high strength I didn't know if it was not just about the strength but also the quality / supplier. Any recommendations - I really want him to love it?0

"Hitlessness" is the problem I have with anything but the first few drags off certain new carts (the ones I got from LLFCO on eBay, and they are/were rather peppery), not all new carts, many are SO mild
The strength of the nicotine content doesn't make any differenct to throat hit, which is what I think your BF misses and so do I. I've been advised to try lots of different juices, not found the ideal one yet.
But I haven't had a cigarette since October 23rd.
