Just put an order in with glasses direct using a 10% voucher it came to £138.05 and I should get 18% cashback with quidco too.

Got nice pair of jeff banks glasses with thinned lenses, scratch resistant an UV filter and a pair of storm glasses with scratch resistant and green tint (UV).

Yes I could have got cheaper but I am quite particular when it comes to glasses and just finding something I like is a blessing.

Will update with relevant feedback as and when.

I can see the point of deleting newbies from posting reviews, as with you post at least you have been honest and said you are in relation to one of the websites, but on the flipside you could just sign up and post an amazing (and fake review) saying how amazing you company has been to your made up person.

As it is I will give you some honest feedback, your site isn't the best of looking and there seems to be some badly scaled images. Past that I found it very hard to navigate the site and couldn't narrow searches down to what I wanted and found I had to click through many pages just incase there was a pair I liked.

Now as you may see from a post further up I have just ordered with glassesdirect, they had more attractive prices aswell as I more functional search (shape/colour/price) rather than having to click through different designers.

As for customer service I have no idea how either company operate as of yet but I get a good/bad service from glasses direct then I will post it in here, but you missed the chance with me due to your website.

To update my order with glassesdirect took 18 days to arrive they do state that more complex glasses can take longer and mine are 3.25 which is over the 3.00 they state.

Overally they arrived quickly enough and are exactly what I ordered and excellent quality, money saved is quite massive compared to my local specsavers.

Overall an excellent service and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Its really not a problem, as said your website says:

"The length of time is mostly dependant on the complexity of your order, single vision prescriptions (ie, not bifocals or varifocals) which aren’t too strong (ie, up to +/- 3 sphere value) are some of the quickest for us to make and take the least time."

And mine where 3.25 in both eyes with many lenses options added on.

I will add a correction as I ordered late at night it would be unfair to use that date as the base date which reduces the time to 17 days, as it is I order 2 pairs to which the first where received on 16 days and the second on 17 days.

As I say I have no hesitation in recommending you to others and have been passing the catalogues around to other glasses wearers I know.

Quite simply for how much I have saved a small wait is more than acceptable.
