New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

I'm still waiting (PM'd Hometune) but nowt todo with 7/8th - mine is a fixed term 'broken' requested on 16th Oct but whilst KE are publicy stating all transfers prior to 20th are 'on the way' they conveniently leave out that it doesn't include FTBs which they admit to on the helpline:mad: ...
Hey Soulsaver, mine was a fixed term, I broke it on the 8th, and received on Friday, so they are just messing with everyone I think, the information they give out has been a total fabrication, keep on them and don't give up.Money requested 08/10, left KE 22/10 - Arrived 24/100 -
Afternoon all, just read all the back pages since logging off yesterday, I have been cracking up - laughing at all the jokes -
My husband said it's the first time he has heard me laugh so much for a couple of weeks.
Trying to have a break over the weekend, getting my energy restored ready for Monday! But I am reading and keeping up with everyone.
I am still emailing trying to get our story investigated just incase we do not get a satisfactory outcome next week.
I cannot go on indefinitely not knowing when I am going to get back my savings..... (and yes ING/KE - I know you keep telling me it's 100% safe - but you keep giving me false dates on when to expect it!)
So see you all tomorrow - hopefully our money too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep laughing Ipplylady, I am routing for you. Would tell you a joke, but I am pants at that, so will laugh with you if that's ok...good luck for tomorrow.Money requested 08/10, left KE 22/10 - Arrived 24/100 -
Why don't you delete them yourself? Just go to each post in turn, then EDIT followed by the DELETE button.
Dave.
Thats all mine gone now.....Thanks for that ;-) ..............God I feel so much better now
What I will say though. Is that is the most constructive post I've seen from you Dave
Well done :TNon illigitamus carborundum!!0 -

Having the light-hearted posts to read during the "quiet hours" is brilliant - it really does help to lift people's spirits when nothing is happening. However, I know that when I was waiting anxiously last week, I was a little bit frustrated at having to search through several such posts each time I logged on just to see if there had been any developments.
Bigg has kindly started a separate thread for the morale-boosting humour - please try to use that one instead.
So my plea for Monday/Tuesday is - please use the forum responsibly with due regard for the feelings of those still waiting to hear where their money is.
Thanks guys - I know you don't mean any disrespect :A
Hey katybull86
Totally understand what you are saying. I will be watching with baited breath, and I am sure there will be no jokes tomorrow, we all understand the seriousness.. Good luck...Money requested 08/10, left KE 22/10 - Arrived 24/100 -
Hi all, just wanted to wish eveyone the best of luck for tomorrow or Tuesday at the worst. I have been watching all the posts, but sitting back a bit as I have very little to offer. Also, Hendon has scared me away - LOL.
I bought a really good bottle of wine (Presidents selection - yum) to celebrate with you lot on Friday. Been itching to open it all weekend but it is still there waiting to be opened Mon or Tuesday at worst.
Wish you all the best for tomorrow - I will be anxiously watching all the posts.0 -
All the best for tomorrow everyone.
Keep on trucking.KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -

Likewise been scanning the posts allday and fully take on board the need to not post unecessarily and not post jokes etc but just going to bed and wanted to post my own best wishes for tommorrow.
Will be mostly here all day (whenever I can kick the little ones of the PC)fingers crossed for you all.If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0 -
I appreciate your responses regarding my plea for responsibility over the next couple of days. I am certainly not a party-pooper - I really enjoyed the banter from all of you. I have been following this thread avidly for a couple of weeks and I know as well as anybody how supportive you guys have been. I just thought that as we are hopefully reaching the finishing post, we should let the thread stay on topic during these anxious times.
I shall be hanging on here most of the day tomorrow (fortunately I am retired so I have that freedom) and will be praying that we see a massive increase in the good news posts until everybody is paid out. Best of luck to you all.

As it is now Monday morning I checked my Halifax account.. nothing to date..
But lets be optimistic that we will be reunited with our hard earned cash by tommorow (Tuesday) at the latest.
Mind you! I now have that feeling of Deja Vu.Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November0
