I have had 13 people contact me out of the 62 people waiting.
The Total for the 13 is £350,389
If anyone else wants to PM me their amount and date I will add them to the list!
Next update will be late afternoon as I'm out today!CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/CBACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/CCHAPS fee refunded 29/10I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!0 -
You can add me to the list. I've got my money back but I'm not gloating. I opened my KE account in July (after careful research, checking their credit rating, compensation scheme etc etc) having narrowly decided against a KE IoM offshore account! I had £26k+ in my account: £5k in fixed term bond and £21k+ instant access. My transfer story:
£9.5k around midnight Sun 05/10, left KE 06/10 arrived First Direct 10/10
£9.9k late Mon 06/10 left KE 07/10 arrived First Direct 17/10
£1600 lunchtime 07/10 left KE 07/10 arrived First Direct 17/10
I rang ING 09/10 when my money hadn't arrived. They registered it as a formal complaint & logged all my account & transaction details. I spoke to a helpful chap called Carl in customer complaints on 0118 938 1865. He left me a message the next day saying all the money would be in my FD account by close of play that day. He was right... sort of. Only the first 06/10 transfer arrived - and that wasn't until around 4pm. I had to endure another week of stress before the rest arrived - again late in the day after 4pm.
I still have £5k in the FTB account which I want to close, but daren't at the moment for fear of going through all this again. But as soon as the dust settles, I'm off to the safety of premium bonds.
Oh and by the way, I work for RBS. Over the seven years I've been there I've "invested" over £20k of my earnings in RBS shares through various staff share schemes. Today my blue chip nest egg is worth the princely sum of £2.5k. Happy days eh?BACS out £9.5k 06/10, received 10/10
BACS out £10k 07/10, received 17/10
BACS out £1.6k 07/10, received 17/10
... but still have £5k in KE fixed term deposit - and daren't transfer it !!!0 -
Be careful. Belongs to RBS!
Thanks - but as I understand it Tesco has its own licence and is therefore separate from the RBS group of deposit takers.
Info taken from a Banking Compensation List (maybe from this website?) shows Tesco own licence...............
Tesco Personal Finance
= Tesco Plc
Maybe somebody can clarify?
While on subject of good rates... Sainsburys Finance also have own licence and pay 5% internet instant access.STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -
Hi Guys
Just to say I'm still following this thread....even tho I got my money back last Friday (8th am BACS).
I'll be closing my unasked for ING account in disgust  at how they're still treating you, as soon as everyone's got their money back.
Thinking of you all
VC
Do you already have an ING account? so far nothing has changed with our log-ins and accounts at KE so news of new ING accounts is important.
Although I am not anxious to start running an ING account perhaps there are many ING savers who will be able to confirm that they get good service from ING otherwise they could not already have so many UK customers.
Before we all kill off ING it should be remembered that KE payouts are being controlled by the Administrators and not ING.
Nevertheless, the lack of accurate information from ING+Administrators and to a lesser extent from KE (lesser as they are now occupied) is absolutely disgraceful.STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -
. I wonder if the person who dealt with my closure request was the same person who dealt with all other missing transactions?
Morning all........this is something I've been wondering. There has to be a common link somewhere, and surely ING/KE don't have to be Poirot to work it out. They have all the info..........or have they?
Is this person who took the requests still there?.....come on ING pull your finger out!!!!!
Our original BACS transfer, along with loads of others, remember, did go through as a CHAPS at the end of the first week,by the way.
For the record,we have nothing left with ING and it will be staying that way.0 -
Good morning all!
You may add me to the list if you wish. I made my chaps in the early morning of the 8th. It was for £29,500.
I would also like to thank everyone who has contributed to this and the other threads on the topic. You have been a great help.0 -
Poll doesn't really apply to me and my wife as the money is not lost as such.
We requested a CHAPS on the 2nd and it was recredited back to our account on the 4th (Saturday!) having been returned. Since then my wife has spoken to KE so many times, each time to be told that they will retry the CHAPS again, although the full balance is still in the account (minus the £20 CHAPS charge of course.).
Will get back on to the phone to them on Monday.
It seems that CHAPS are still problematic as they are all manually executed. BACS is automated and BACS have worked over the past 4 days so, unless you cannot wait 3 days run a BACS xfer on Monday.STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -

Yes, Tesco Personal Finance have their own license so are a seperate entity from RBS per the FSCS. It is still a joint RBS/Tesco venture however Tecso expect to buy RBS out in November.
If you want to open an account then crack on - it takes while as the process is fairly manual....(taken us 10 days so far and still no online login)0 -
Add me to the list please. CHAPS transfer left KE 8th Oct, nothing in linked Barclays account to date.
This account contained money that we have been saving every month since our daughter was born and was being withdrawn to give to her on her 18th birthday next week. Looks like she will have to have an IOU instead !
Rang the customer service number this morning and they took details "to be passed on to the Administrators for investigation".
I discovered this forum a couple of days ago and its a relief to know that I'm not alone.0 -
Geez.... still (at least) 62 people not received long dated xfers.........
It seems that any funds not received in destination accounts by close of business on Monday 27th will be PROBLEMS as we have been told that ALL outstanding xfers would have been made by Thursday 23rd (do bear in mind that xfers these are all being made by BACS not CHAPS).
