New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

Maybe I should shut up about my broken fixed term from the 16th as clearly there is still problems from the initial backlog. Strange that one individual mentioned they'd broken an KE ftb since the transfer and got their money!
Or was it an ING plant. Just out of interest I have made withdrawals from my ING ftb with no problems at all back by BACS in 2 days - so if my experience is typical it's not the ING process thats broken... but ING doesn't do CHAPS.

I am so sorry for you guys and so horrified with ING!!!!! I still have KE account, although now just £25, but once the interest is credited and CHAPS fee returned, I am off. I had BACS on 7/10 an that was received 17/10, did CHAPS on Monday 20/10 and thankfully received 22/10.

Wha I found most offensive here, is aht there was no sorry all day from ING or any real reason why you haven't received the money! Oh, and you haven't receive your money because your bank doesn't accept CHAPS (which bank doesn't???? Some of them may not send any - like ING).

Oh, my curname starts with "C", if that helps!

I have been logging into my account all day nothing at all Account details confirmed with KE this morning and transaction went yesterday. I do not beleive anything anymore from this shower. I think we are looking into next week now. Will post if any change. Somebody will have to answer to this surely, if only to explain how taking on KPE has lost ING SO MUCH CUSTOM. Will be jumping ship entirely as soon as this is sorted out if ever.

Just got on line, went out straight out after work...

I cant believe that I believed them again... last Friday... now this Friday... WHEN ING WHEN !

Its a farce...

I also had a joint savings account with ING, to the tune of 20k, that has now left them... i and mrs stonehands, also have an ISA each of 3k... that will be gone from them as soon as I can suss out where to move it to...

All they had to do was email me and keep me informed of what is happenening, I shouldnt have to find out what is happening or not with my money from an internet forum... not one email have i received from them..

oh and ING spokesperson can save their typing messages, we all know its b*****ks now...

I think I am going to phone that number up tomorrow and vent big time at someone.. i dont care if its not their fault.. they are working for someone who is screwing us around... if they dont like it, they can leave and work for a reputable company... :mad:

Oh and to top it all off... when i got in tonight mrs stonehands has a letter from them saying the ISA rate is dropping to 4.25%... :mad:

Based on my conversations with the Customer Services Director and taking into account Martins strong influence and backing (2.5 million e-mail list!), I am totally, totally, certainly 100% confident with knobs on that you will get your money back. Just don't ask me to predict what day!

Think its time to have a hot chocolate or something stronger and think about something nice to do at the weekend. :beer:
