Bigg, the thread's quite quiet now, and maybe the risk of clogging the thread has to be balanced by showing some ongoing support for the "20-odd".

Hello - I have perhaps naively been thinking, “oh my money is ok in the ING thing, its protected by the government” however today when I decided I needed my money from the “instant” access account, the on line thing is not letting me transfer!!

So my questions are as follows.

“Can you withdraw your money, and get it within the 3 days stated in BACS?”

“With the fixed bond is it best to leave and wait the term? Are they paying the interest at the end, and will you get it? The interest and the initial sum deposited?”

Thank you in advance – for me being so dim!!

Just logged in after a weekend with Uni daughter in Newcastle. - which was absolutely wondeful due to massively reduced strress levels.

I cannot believe there are still so many of us waiting. I have been through some dark times with this experience and the steadfast support from you guys was exemplary. I will never desert this thread even if there is only one man standing...

No she didnt, and I was expected to attend "happy hours" and stand outside under tablewarmers being all studenty...of course, who could possibly tell us apart??

I think normal withdrawals by BACS are ok (but a little longer than usual), but try ringing them first to make sure, 0115 983 6331.
